Welcome to the Writing Room. This is a place where you can share your stories or poetry, or any type of writing with your fellow guild member. For long posts - like stories - feel free to post a link to the story. If you want ideas or suggestions, feel free to post that here.
For the purpose of stories and poetry, mild swearing will be allowed. If you're posting it here on Gaia, please keep in mind the contents rule. If you're posting a link to another site, please make sure to post a note if the link is going to contain subjects that are over the Gaia ratings (example, Adult contents). People who are not guild members can read the posts listed here, but they cannot comment on them, so it is possible that someone young can find the post and follow links, so do try to keep that in mind if posting something of adult content.

Dark Embrace
The darkness of his soul permeates my mind.
His silver eyes seeking, searching to find that which was left behind.
A soul full of anguish but yet I can't destinguish between the animal and tha man.
A voice so soft it calls to me.
It is there, constantly a shadow in my mind.
I hear his voice beckoning to do which I can't define.
He looks up and my heart stops for this one moment in time.
I feel his need to feast.
I know the beast within.
He has searched centuries for which he has found in one single night.
I feel his pain, I feel his loss, he has risked his life at no other cost.
I know the danger as it consumes me, but must it be, there is anger in him when he looks into mu face.
For I know I am his light in his cold dark embrace.

well when i find my book i have written all my poems on, i will put them here. i already have two published.. the one i put here and another one called the rock.

yup. I can get all my poems published if i want to. The one called Dark embrace is being published this year and my other one was published a couple years ago.

Ohh, congrats. smile The only thing I've gotten published was two haikus in a magazine when I was in 7th grade.
