Physical Description:
He looks no older than a man of 20, with a thin body structure, and blonde hair, which is unkempt, and covers to his ears. His eyes are blue. He is left handed, and carries his sword on his left side. He wears the traditional soul reaper clothing.
Zanpacto:
Boutoku: Can't access shikai, let alone bonkai
his sword is average sized, and when it is called upon, it becomes two kusarigama, a kama with a flail attached to it. The flail, like most kusarigama, had a grip on it, so that he may either swing the kama, or the flail. He prefers to swing the kama, giving him an advantage over things that must be cut to die. Although he has this, he is not very skilled with it, and so he tries to fight blade to blade as much as possible. When released, any place where it creates a mark from impact will result in major inflammation. He is in no way capable of a bonkai though, and no one is willing to teach him.
When his bankai is unlocked, it will be something like starvation, and madness brought into his kamas, but That wont happen for some time.
Special Accessories:
He carries light weight items, but what he does have are as follows:
A little pouch with some medicine in it
A ring that amplifies kido, but not by much
finally, a small dagger, hidden in a compartment of his sword hilt, mainly for taking out things that have armour, such as a plate body.
Skills:
he has not learned any skills yet, but hopes to learn shunpo in the near future.
Abilities:
so far he has only learned how to do the simple spells of destruction, and binding, which he learned in the academy. What he has learned though, that was not taught to him in the academy, was a technique that allows him to see in the night. Because he knows this ( as do countless others I assume) he prefers night fights much more.
Personality:
He is a laid back person, who likes to wait for the right moment, If someone gets him annoyed, he will retaliate, but for the most part he doesn't have a short temper. Pretty much, don't tread on him, and he will respect you, and be friendly with you.
Biography/History:
When he was killed, he was fighting for America in Vietnam, as a drafted solider. This why he has the reitsu to be a soul reaper. His death was nothing special, just a simple bullet to the head, execution style. When he was not in the war, he worked as a hunter, killing mainly deer. If ever he must go to the human world, he will most likely not voluntarily use one of the bodies, as he would rather not be noticed by others. He is expecting to become of high rank in the Seireitei, and will be hoping that he gets into division two
Powers:
He is with the same powers as any Soul Reaper, as They really don't differ.
His shikai though, causes inflammation to where ever it slices ( keep in mind this isn't like kira's where if you touch it, it happens, it actually needs to make a mark)
If you would like to add any criticism or advise, I encourage it, as I really want this to be a great profile.

Ok I'll start with the simple things that are noticeable at first glance.
The Shikai is very scarcely described and there has been no description on the Bankai (yes you start with neither but it is usually a good idea to have them described before hand so that they don't become God Moddy when you get them)
Next is the memory thing. They do know of there past once they enter Soul Society - for example the kid that Chad saved, still knew Chad after being sent to Soul Society.

What exactly is Boutoku's power? I can see that it changes into two Kusarigama and that the Bankai invokes Starvation and Madness - but Bankai is an extension of Shikai so how does this same Starvation and Madness manifest in Shikai? I'm trying to theme it off of my zanpakuto, where it's name means that type of stuff. I think I'm good. Now which squad should I enrol myself in?
I would like to be more of an assasinationish, keep from large groups of people, and get it doneish. I think squad 2 would be best, but You may have a better idea.

Well it is all up to you, most of us chose the squad that we believed was most fitting to our character's abilities. If you believe your character is more of the assassination fold then Squad 2 would be your place I believe.
