The Soul Gem
Story
Eons ago, the Crusades between Heaven and Hell began. The two fought a seemingly endless war with Earth as their battlefield. Both sides inflicted huge damage on Earth and it's peoples. The people of Earth eventually learn to cope with the constant battle, but weren't happy with it. Many people met there ends in the crossfire, and many more trying to calm the two unstoppable forces...
One thousand years later, the two had come to a agreement. Those whom lived good lives would go to Heaven when they passed on and those who lived bad ones would go to Hell. Thus, the battle had stopped. For the most part... Two warriors remained, locked in the heat of battle. A male Angel, Aizien, one of Heaven fiercest warriors, and a female Demon, Dymicia, Hells most powerful, yet stubborn fighter. The two locked swords across the globe, neither willing to stop until the other was no more... Over the years, they had caused an inconceivable amount of damage and Human-kind was at its wits-end.
An unknown Priest stepped up to put a stop to the constant conflict. He created what came to be known as the Soul Gem. With it, he locked the two away, in a world their own, where they might finish there battle, and leave the living in peace. The terms of release were "So long as both good and evil exist within, both shall remain. However, when only good or only evil remains, the victor shall be released to return from whence they came." However, something rather unexpected occurred within the jewel... The two fell in love. Some say, having been locked away in the world within the Jewel, they went mad. Others say they had been in love the moment their swords first met. Regardless how their love came to be, the two gave birth to a child, who was neither Demon, nor Angel. They had shown the child nothing but love and care. But as the years past, the child had developed a unknown hate for the two, for having spawned him in what he thought of as Hell.
Years later, when the boy had grown enough, he took action, slaying his parents in their sleep, with their own swords. A white light exploded from the Jewel and their son was released. He didn't only hate his parents, no, but be hated the Priest who locked them away, and, in turn though some ignorant logic, hated all Human-kind! The Son of the Demon and Angel waged war on the living, in his wake, leaving nothing but Death and Destruction... But, there is hope...
It is said, that by destroying the Soul Gem, where the Boy came to be, the Boy too, would be destroyed! Do Battle with an invincible foe, claim a Unholy Relic and together, destroy it, to restore peace to the world! Will they succeed? Only -you- can answer that!
