Route 3 is a common training place for newer trainers. Though, lately, pokemon that aren't normally on this route have been found.
Spearow, Lvls. 6-8, 1-40

Prox entered the rout and began to walk through the tall grass alert as if prepared for battle at any moment. He was anxious to find a Mankey, and even more anxious to try and catch one. If he could get his hands on one he'd be satisfied. While he and Cubone walked with Mizuke beside him he felt as if he had a small group of friends. Friendship was something slightly new to him. Since he was raised by a Cubone his only friend had been pokemon so befriending a person was something new to him. He like it quite a bit. As he and the rest of the group walked through the grass a section not far off began to shake as if something were about to pounce.

Prox watched as a wing first slipped through the grass, "Damn. I really thought it would be a Mankey." Before he could even battle the Pidgey it flew away. "So how long have you been a trainer?"

Mizuke thought for a moment. "um.... about 2-3 weeks?" she admitted. She looked around, still amazed by the pokemon world. With her newly hatched vulpix, her thoughts of actually catching pokemon and training them seemed closer that ever. Suddenly she heard some grass shaking. Mizuke turned to a patch of grass where the sound came from, both herself and vulpix ready to fight their first battle.

"Well it's sure not a mankey..." she said, seeing a Spearow come out from the grass. She was excited to fight her first battle, but she didn't get the chance. The pokemon saw them and took off before Vulpix had a chance to attack. Mizuke sighed in disappointment, but she had to accept the loss.

Prox sighed, "This may take a little longer then I anticipated. Oh and don't get too down, there are plenty of pokemon out here to battle." Prox kept on walking around searching the tall grass and tress. As he was looking he noticed something shaking in the tree. "Oh..wait this could be one."

Mizuke nodded. She was glad Prox was here. They just met, yet they were friends almost instantly and it seems like they knew each other for a lot longer than this. Mizuke smiled and blushed slightly, but it disappeared as she heard something. Vulpix had turned to another patch of grass that was shaking.

(You're doing fine, only 2 mess ups so far and that's expected. It will take a little getting used to since you aren't used to using the RNG and the Dice. Just remember to find a pokemon it's the random number. To catcha pokemon in a pokeball it's the dice.)
A spearow flew from the branch. "Oh well. As I said there are a lot of pokemon out here, and it may take some time to find the one we are looking for." He just sat down where he stood and layed back in the grass. "Maybe we should relax and let them come to us? How does that sound?"

((nope. not used to the dice... sweatdrop btw, this time i just didn't use the dice cuz i need pokeballs! sweatdrop ))
Another Spearow flew off and she sighed. "Yeah... better let them come to us. Then maybe- oops..." Mizuke cut herself off as she remembered something. "I forgot to by pokeballs!" she admitted, looking embarrased. "I guess i was too caught up in my excitement of Vulpix hatching that i forgot..."

Prox just looked over and laughed at her comment. "Yeah, that is something that could happen. I was so excited when Cubone hatched I ran out of the lab without even really saying good buy. I am surprised I remembered to buy a couple. I didn't have that much money, but I got 2 of them. I just hope I can catch a Mankey with that." Prox looked up because not too far away was yet again another noise, "Well hopefully this one is what we want."

Before he knew it a Pidgey flew across the sky. It's majestic wings were flapping eligantly as it seemed to glide around. It flew off into the horizon for waht seemed like it would never be seen again.

Mizuke smiled. "Well i'll be back in a bit, ok? I can probably get two pokeballs and thats good enough for now," she said. "Good luck with finding a mankey! I'll be back in a bit!" Mizuke called as she started off, heading back to the town with Vulpix running by her side.

Prox just remained lying down with Cubone resting on his chest. "I really wish one would just jump out of no where." just as Prox finished that sentence a rustling noise could be heard not far from where he was seated.

Just as Prox got his hopes up a JiggyPuff came walking out of the grass. It stopped not two feet away from him before it opened it's mouth out wide and began to sing. Prox couldn't help but fall asleep. In his dreams Mankey were jumping out of every inch. The Jiggly Puff just ran away.
