I do, I do! Pastel is especially beautiful, and Bumble is especially cute! heart
Your pictures make me want to have a sweet little ball python! Somehow I think certain other pets would have a distinct hate for that, though. xd

Oh wow, beautiful BPs! Lucky you, I still can't get my female to lock with the spider yet this season. We're hoping to work on bumblebees in the next few years, then spider pieds, and eventually spider calicos.
I'd love to see some more pics though! Encore!

I'd love to see some more pics though! Encore! Some females don't like to breed until their 4 years old, instead of the normal 3 years. They're picky! I'm working on spider pieds (spieds) next year, and also pewter and cinnamon pieds next year as well. Can't wait! heart

RianeBP Rattie Virginia I do, I do! Pastel is especially beautiful, and Bumble is especially cute! heart Your pictures make me want to have a sweet little ball python! Somehow I think certain other pets would have a distinct hate for that, though. xd My cats want to eat/play with them!! crying Proton (my current favorite rat) would probably try her hardest to get in and fight any snake. She tries to attack our 8 lb. iguana! Proton squeezes through spaces she shouldn't be able to get through and my husband is much too lax when he supervises the rats. Owning a snake would not end well. I actually had a dream along those lines recently. A dream where we owned a really sweet, lazy snake, and I heard it rustling through something and went to investigate and was like, "Ummm... Where did the rats go?" and realized to my horror that there was a gap in their cage bars, and then turned around just in time to see a fat snake tail sliding out under the door. But for some strange reason, in my dream it wasn't the pet snake to blame, it was some random, wild snake that somehow broke into my apartment... And somehow could squeeze underneath the really teeny slit under the front door! xp Nightmares are weird like that. Mentally, I don't think I could own (or, more accurately, feed) a snake at the same time as I owned pet rats. I've had to cut up mice for a job at the same time that I've owned these rats and that was heart breaking enough (it was food for raptors; and yes, obviously they were dead first). I'm impressed that people like Shanna can emotionally deal with owning both snakes and pet rats at the same time. But someday if I ever grow out of this rat phase and decide to get a snake, I'd probably go for a ball python. There's been something really endearing about the ones I've met. heart And, besides, their temperament would be best suited for me.

Nightmares are always like that, I have to sell some of my snakes tomorrow, and I worry if they'll go to a good home, so I've been having odd dreams. One was that they got mites, but like....super mites!! They were the size of finger nails and were eating the snakes alive...I woke up and had to check on them. sweatdrop I can't own a pet rat with my snakes, I'd feel bad too...that and my allergies can't support a rat. eek

And then again first thing when it was morning and I woke up properly, just to reassure myself a second time. I actually discovered that I'm a little allergic to rats, too, after I first got them. But in my case it's mild enough of an allergy, and the rats are just so rewarding as pets, that I decided to ignore it. They aren't allowed on the bed sad (a sad day for rat kind) and I try to limit their time in the entire bedroom, and that seems to be enough to keep my nose happy. But I've battled environmental allergies my entire life, so adding a very minor one into the existing mix hasn't really been anything noteworthy to my body. It doesn't even come close to my dust or cat allergies. I hope all the snakes will find good, loving homes!

She bred last season first thing, was an awesome mommy too. The male though, is driving me insane. He's decided to ACT like he's in breeding mode(not eating, less active, ect), but he won't actually do the deed rofl.
I'd love to see some pics of those spieds when you make them lol. Does that mean you already have pieds?

No, I meant I was going to work on getting some spieds next year, not that I'll have visuals next year...will be two or three years before I actually get the animal. sweatdrop This is what I get for talking when I'm hald asleep. gonk My males don't seem to have any issues with doing the deed, and my females are either willing, or actively taking part (Charlie wags her tail when a male comes into the bin). heart

Ah, haha, I was wondering how you were going to make them so fast lol.
I found out it was just the male that was having trouble, I guess he's just not ready yet. sad I put my male in with her the other night(I figure it's better to get normal babies rather than none xD ) and she immediately started tail wagging. I'm thinking of trying to switch out the males and see if maybe the spider will go for it after he smells so much male on her lol.
