elaise lead the rest of them towards the kitchen and sighed slightly when she entered. turning she looked at them all for a few minutes before saying " so what do you all want? i can cook a decent pasta bake for everyone if you want?" she smiled slightly as she waited for them to answer knowing that all of the ingredients she needed were already there.

Bernadette walked in the kitchen and smiled. She went into the fridge and got out a Dr. Pepper, "Um, lets see. Spaghetti with Meatballs?" She sat down on the counter drinking her soda, hoping she'd get her wish.

" yeah sure why not. if everyone else is happy with that." she said smiling at berna " i think we have some garlic bread as well. would you like some of that with it?" she began going through the fridge and cuboard gathering all the ingredients she needed together.

Bernadette giggled, "We are going to have an awesome dinner before everybody else! Yeah! Garlic bread sounds great." She drank her Dr. Pepper with a smile and thought for a moment, "Do...you need help with cooking? I know I don't really know how, but, I can learn."

elaise smiled at bernadette " yeah you can help if you want to." she said softly " why don't you prepare a salad to go with it, wbile i make the sauce." she added smiling again before getting the rest of the ingrediants out.

Bernadette went into the fridge getting out lettuces, tomatoes, cheese, and croutons. She sliced them up and started to grade the cheese. "Do you like cheese on your salad? If you don't then I can just leave this in another bowl and people can serve it themselves." As she grated, she took clumps of cheese and ate it herself.

elaise turned and smiled at berna " it's best if you put it in a bowl at the side, then everyone can add it themselves." she said before turning away again and making the sauce for the pasta.

Richard tilted his head, slightly confused; he was just a little overwhelmed by all of this. He'd never been that well in crowds; though, his father had rarely allowed him and his sister out of the house, so he wasn't certain how well he was in a crowd.

elaise turned and saw the tendrils of mist sighingf slightly she walked over and looked at him " it's alright. you'l get used to controlling your powers better now your here." she said softly taking the plates off him and putting them on the table before moving back over to the stove. " it all nearly ready." she said outloud.

Richard sighed. "If I could control them... I might be able to blend in somewhat," he muttered without thinking. He exhaled out icy mist for a moment, then half turned, the sunlight burning into his eyes and making his head throb.

elaise nodded before walking over and grabbing him, pulling him slightly backwards out of the sunlight that was streaming through the window " that can't have been helping either." she said softly " don't worry we'l find a way for you to be able to go into the sunlight without getting migraines."
