Kyphrin walked up the stone steps of Cosmo Canyon, covered in sweat, heading back after his day of work at clearing out the monsters near town. He stretched, yawning, trying to work some of the soreness out of his back. He rested his spear against his shoulder, reaching the top of the steps and nodding to the evening guard. "Yo, hows it going Ilan?"
"Pretty good, Kyphrin. The monster hunting go well today?" The guard nodded back with a smile.
"Yeah, got rid of the ones near town, they're starting to come in larger numbers though." He replied with a frown. "Well, I'm ready to take a shower and get some sleep, have fun on night duty." He waved at the guard and headed to his home, taking a quick shower before working on his reports to turn in about the hunting, making a note of concern about the increasing number of monsters.
