Green did not care for obnoxious women. Really, all they gave him was a headache. Not adoration. Not praise. Just headaches. It was because of this that he did his best to avoid as many obnoxious women as possible. Now Blue, she was the most obnoxious of them all. Not only that, but she gave him the biggest headache. There was just one problem when it came to this particular brunette: She was hard to avoid. Unlike other obnoxious women, whom were usually easy for Green to avoid, he always seemed to bump into Blue. And at the worst possible time, too.
There were a lot of things about Blue that irritated Green, all obnoxiousness aside. For starters, there was her smirk. The way the corners of her lips always curved upward into a mischievous and condescending grin always drove him crazy, though he did his best to hide it from the girl since she seemed to take pleasure in his misfortune. It seemed that infamous smirk was a permanent feature of the girl’s face, never leaving it precarious spot on her countenance. She used this smirk to torment and taunt him, gloating without words. Blue’s smirk held hints of deceit and mysteriousness, always implying that she knew something others were unaware of but she wasn’t going to share simply for the sake of aggravating Green.
Her eyes also drove Green to annoyance. They were much like her smirk, containing bits and pieces of her true personality without completely revealing who she was as a person. Blue’s eyes led people to believe one thing, when in actuality the girl had completely different ideas in mind. They were deceitful, much like her smirk. Blue’s eyes were round and girlish, a perfect disguise to trick people. Narrow and sharp worked better in Green’s mind, but then that would give Blue away, and this was something the girl couldn’t have. Though scheming, her eyes also held life, and this disturbed the boy. He never knew which eyes to trust, the misleading eyes or the ones brimming with energy.
Blue’s flirtation was another aggravation Green noted. Though hard to believe, Blue was just another girl. And she knew how to work this to her advantage. Her strategy: Flirt to get what she wanted. She wasn’t loyal to a single person, but instead loyal to the idea of getting what she wanted in the end. If this meant flirting, then so be it. The girl was not ashamed. And herein lay the problem, at least to Green. She flaunted herself around, and this was irritating for Green to watch. Granted, it wasn’t as annoying when she was directing her flirtatiousness towards himself, but it was still annoying nonetheless.
Black suited the brunette girl well, at least that’s what Green thought. It went well with her personality. The color could deceive and mystify all at once, just like the girl herself. It was the perfect color for her, and summed her up perfectly. If Green had to describe Blue in one word, he would use black as a description of the obnoxious girl. There really wasn’t any other color he could associate the brunette with, certainly not pink at least.
Blue flipped her brown hair over her shoulder with a single flick, glancing back at Green and flashing him that infamous smirk that angered him every time. “See you around, Green,” she chuckled before twirling around and leaving the boy.
Green disliked obnoxious women. And there were a lot of reasons to dislike Blue. Green just couldn’t come up with any. She wasn’t that much of an obnoxious woman, anyway.
Green frowned with his eyes still glued to the back of Blue as he watched the girl walk away into the distance, her hair swaying back and forth to the rhythm of her movements. “…Pesky girl.”
