Hm... I'll help where I can... I need to go relook at the entries.
[edit]
Okay, after looking at the entries, I've picked my top 4.
1stname-
Castle Halls Abbykaquality- Since the image was traditionally drawn, the actual quality of transferring it to a digital medium is good. Overall composition is okay, using the blue and yellow colors on the dress ontop of the read and orange background of the drapery causes the figure to pop. The actual dress and other cloth on the figure actually look like it fits on the form and fall freely like realistic drapery.
reason Out of all the pieces, I feel that this one is the strongest out of all the art pieces that I've seen. I feel that this one deserves 1st.
2ndname-King Art/Tears of a Marionettequality-This art piece has some character, but has some basic drawing mistakes that younger artists make. However, this person also shows some understanding in clothing/cloth gathering on a form and foreshortening. In addition to this, it just slightly is boggling my mind is the way the figure is lighted, because the way the shadow shapes cast on the form it isn't actually on there to describe form.
reasonThis piece actually was done exceptionally well for someone who is only 13 years old, and I hope that they continue to draw, because they're actually showing some promise artistically.
3rdname-Presenting her Majesty/ Diabolica-IIIquality- Looking at this piece as a line art, the piece is fairly well composed, however it lacks the one crucial thing for a line art piece; Line variation. This piece does have "some" line variation, but not enough to differentiate the figure from the decorative frame design. However, the figure is actually pretty proportional and well composed with gesture and form.
reason This art piece is not being judged on the fact that it's not colored, but rather that it does fall short on it's own. As far as composition went with the frame and mimicking a Alphonse Mucha style of art, the actual frame was more distracting to their intended center of focus (I mean, did anyone else notice the imp angel in the bottom left that she's resting her arm on?) Overall this one falls short in clarity and composition like the other two. (that and I can't add age in as a factor, because age isn't listed)
4thName-King and Queen/Aranel Anira
qualityThe quality was okay with this piece. Some proportional issues, but overall a relatively strong piece of work.
reasonOut of the remaining artwork, I felt that this one was still a slight jump higher than the rest, deserving to place.
[Note:]I'm not being harsh, I'm just critiquing based on what I see.
