Welcome to Gaia! ::

zOMG! is Gaia's very own MMO(massive multiplayer online) game which is hosted directly off of the servers. There's no program to install, as it runs as a flash program in your web browser. You play as your avatar and travel through Gaia to fight the threat of the Animated, monsters that were once nothing more than items and objects. Your quest is to unravel the mysteries of the Animated and put them to an end once and for all.

As the game is updated often, some story elements change along the way. One of the more constant things is how it begins. When you start the game for the first time, you'll find yourself on your way to Gaia from far away. After disembarking, you are told of the animated and put through various trials in order to get to Barton Town. These trials help you understand the basics behind the game, as well as giving you a chance to earn cool stuff.

Your main weapons in zOMG! are rings. Unlike other games where experience makes your character stronger, you get stronger here by adding charge orbs to your rings and leveling them up. This can be done in the Null Chamber, a place of great importance in the game. Crystals that link to the Null Chamber can be found in many places. Access every point from the map and you can use the null chamber as a shortcut places further away.

Let's talk about controls. The control layout is really simple, once you are used to it.
Arrow keys or clicking mouse on empty spot- movement
` key or click on enemy- lock on to enemy
Number keys 1-8 - use rings
Space Bar - Lock on to yourself
Enter - Opens text entry for chat
There are many other controls and even a method to modify the controls to your own liking. However, I will not cover those at this time. If any of these controls do not work for you you can figure out your specific controls by going into Options and clicking the Control tab.

Finally, let's talk about the rewards you can earn. Every monster has items specific to it that it will drop, as well as gold, rings and charge orbs. These items are useful in recepies, another type of item you can find. After you've collected all of the items stated on the recepie you want to put together, go to Nicolae's shop and he'll put the ingrediants together for a price. Than you can show off your new gear to everybody. There are many exclusive items which can only be gotten this way.
Another reward in zOMG! are Freebies. In many maps, you'll find an icon depicting dice. This icon marks where you can go to get either a free item or free gold. You can only get one freebie from each spot per day, just like the Daily Chance on the web page.

zOMG! is a fun game. It's even more fun when you're playing with friends. So get a crew together and stomp the Animated. The adventure is just beginning.
