I am very picky about poetry(on DA i don't even read other peoples poetry) :V

PRIZES
1st place gets angelic camisole!

It's been a while when I started
To realize that you're the one I needed
But it hurts me to say that
It can never so true
That one melody of our bond
Will be soon broken into two
I fear of this in the beginning
Warned myself not to go any deeper
Yet your warm embrace of words
Keeps my hopes up of being with you
I deny all of this
Though it still hurts me to say
That it must end right away
Before you realize
I just do not exist in this
true life.

As the wind blew by
outside my window.
I stood there and stare
as tears drop has fallen.
From deepin my eyes
i cannot see.
From deepin my soul
i cannot be free.
But deep down my heart
i can now rest.
As the flower blooms
once more again.

The reflection as clouded as the memory,
that I grasp to.
Holding onto sand,
it slips away bit by bit.
I look into the mirror,
as often as I breathe.
“Do I look okay?”
“Should I try to stay away?”
My thoughts race as people stare,
their cold eyes connect with mine.
I see their harsh judgment,
the cruel words through the stillness of their face.
Close your eyes.
Breathe.
Keep living.
Just don’t let them see you fall.
Be the perfect being that they see you as.

Its sweet the words he whispers,
To convince me of his loyalty.
I need no tender promises tonight,
Tonight the heat will consume us,
Burn us fullfill us make us whole.
Sweet, the care he always takes,
even though it is not what he desires.
His hands that warm flushed skin,
Leave trails of feeling, of need.
Sweet his caring, against brutal nature
His dark eyes hold sadness, hope lingers
As if love and lust hold the keys to his salvation
In the dark of his lovers room where no one can see it
I love you my sweet is All I can hear

cloud
floating in the air like fluffy cotton amid
traveling across the shinning seas to the distant lands
soaring throughout the wind so free between
hovering in the vivid sky up so high
morphing into different shapes and
flowing through the space with freedom
trailing along a rainbows fading path by
glistening in the sunshine’s affectionate warmth
crying the doldrums across the earth while
feeding the eager flowers with watery tears
changing the atmosphere full with emotion as
drifting within the current of life
walking amongst the sun above whilst
providing a soothing shade for weary creatures below
playing hide and seek together with fiends or
dancing with heavenly angels against rays of light
guiding a plane towards its destination as
rising along with the hopes of many
smiling upon aged existence and
imagining higher than any kite can reach
growing beyond the wishing stars while
dreaming dreams under the milky moon
spreading wings outstretched to blanket the earth once
flying over the dusky eve of clay near to the clear fields of the streams
living life as a cloud

ZNightmare can we submit more then one? >3> these are all wonderfully written poems and there will certainly be winners, but i have to say one entry per person. No worries for there shall be more poetry contests in the future because i <3 poetry
