On Facebook I posted an event titled "Remember the Rev" (same as my guilds name) and some people from my school confirmed they would wear some sort of A7X merch, as well as some friends I sent the invite to from around the country. Of around 60 people who confirmed their invites only 3 of us even wore anything. The next day I saw someone in a hoodie but that was it. I thought people would want to Remember the Rev on his birthday but it was just the three of us, and it really bummed me out to say the least. Every person who I had seen wear lots of Avenged Sevenfold shirts or who had bags it seemed did not care to remember him, there are even reminders on Facebook of upcoming events!
I plan to Remember the Rev every year til the day I die and I will be expanding eventually, I just need things to settle down in my life a little bit before I can start to think about what exactly I want to do with Remember the Rev. For many reasons I am not posting my ideas with where I'm going with Remember the Rev, mostly because I don't want any copycats, please don't take offense to that, but I've had my ideas taken before and it is not happening again.
