Its an interesting idea. Here are some classes.
Pyromancer (Fire)
Necromancer (Death)
Diviner (Storm)
Conjurer (Myth (Summoning minions) )
Theurgist (Life (Healing and Plant Life) )
Thaumaturge (Ice)
Sorcerer (Balance (Power ups, Defense) )

Also Mage ranks are
in order from least to greatest:
Novice
Apprentice
Initiate
Journeyman
Adept
Magus
Master
Grandmaster
Each level give better spells and abilities. starters are Novice. The best mages are Grandmaster.
