Good news! Media Blasters has licensed the SZS anime!

Bad news? It's most likely to be sub-only if any of you were hoping for a dub, plus since it's a North American company it's likely non-US residents like me will have to import it.
But still excellent!

Other than dubbing, for what purpose would an American company acquire rights to an anime?

Really, with the demise of ADV and Geneon, there are very few dubbing companies now. As a result, a lot of recent licenses (Such as Gintama, the Lucky Star OVA etc.) have been sub-only, because there's too few anime distributors that have the access and money to provide dubbed audio. DDD:

Not that great for UK anime fans, considering the majority of the time, an anime must be dubbed in order to get a UK DVD release.
