A virus has broken out called the Olivius Virus, or as some have started calling it, Southern Fever. It happened when something leaked out of a southern based government laboratory.

Most were infected and became all weak, dying, zombie-like beings. But they weren't zombies. They were very much alive, just sick and filled with rage and a desire to kill before the virus killed them. Others mutated to high degrees and gained abilities no ordinary human would have.

A few have survived because they were immune. But the infected are still out there. Can the last soul living in the Georgian Swamplands escape the viral infection and get to safety before its too late? Or will he find something else there that he hadn't bargained for?

xxxxxHector, or as he prefers to be called, Sable, is not one to double cross. He prefers the darkness since he became infected an also prefers to be alone. He is afraid of not being able to control his viral instincts and therefore doesn't want human contact at all. Yet, when the opportunity arises, he is the first to pounce, last to ask questions. And he is aggressive and possessive. Known to growl to tell other infected to back off and let him do all the work to make a kill.

Sable cannot communicate well with humans. But he will growl in a low tone if he senses one in the area around him. That pretty much means one thing. "Get lost." And usually after that, if the survivor sticks around, they end up pinned and soon dead or infected. Sable usually stops after one of those results except on a bad day. The survivors have taken to trying to kill the infected off so Sable tries to keep hidden unless he spots one alone. If he could battle the rage for one moment, he would attempt to get the point across that he wants to be helped. But the rage is empowering.

xxxxxSable was once a lawyer. Before the infection that is. Well, he was in college to be one. He always had a taste for law, ever since watching a court show when he was seven. He didn't understand it then but does now. But his dreams were ruined by the Olivius Infection. Or as some have started calling it, Southern Fever. It began with a mishap in a southern based government lab and is infecting the States slowly. And unfortunately, Hector was bitten.

He lost his ability to speak due to viral swelling of the vocal chords. He growls to communicate with other infected but that isn't understandable by humans. Deep down he wants to find a cure. But the virus seized his mind capacities and filled him mostly with rage. Rage for fellow humans and infected alike. If he cannot infect, he can definitely kill.

xxxxxHe pounces his enemies and tries to rip them to shreds with his sharp claw like fingernails and bare hands. He can jump nearly the distance of a football field to attack and can also jump a one story building with ease.
