This is a band that brings in metal and goth culture together and they are one of my favorite goth metal types, I didn't see Type O negative anywhere in this forum so I felt like I should post them up here because I think that they deserve some credit too

This guild moves slow, don't expect a reply for at least a few hours to a day.
I thought we already had a thread for them but I don't see it, so I guess this is the first one. That just seems odd to me.
Anyways, I love Type O. Their best Metal album was October Rust, with out a doubt. But my favorite album from them is Life Is Killing Me, even though it has a more Rock feel then any of the other albums.

Well, you don't have to worry about that here. We know whos active and who isn't.
"I don't Want To be Me" is actually off their Life Is Killing Me album. Cinnamon Girl is actually a cover of Neil Young, if you didn't know that already. I thought Type O did a great job covering it though.

Shadowlit Facade So, it sucks about Peter Steele. neutral It sure does. On a somewhat selfish note, I really wasn't looking forward to a new album from them, especially since their last was pretty terrible.

I wasn't lamenting the fact that Peter won't be able to contribute to any future, likely bad albums. I am merely lamenting the passing of a talented individual, regardless of whether that talent was exhibited very much in recent years. Bloody Kisses and October Rust are timeless.

Call me predictable, but the full-length version of "Black No. 1" is probably my favorite song by them. That, or "Blood & Fire."

I did like Black No. 1 and two or three songs off the album but together as a whole I just didn't really like it.
