This thread will be devoted to the discussion of the character classes:
their strengths, weaknesses, and strategies that would work best in
parties.

Here's the list of the classes and their abilities:

Mage- Heals one member in the party by 10 points per level each
turn. Besides gaining exp points for defeating monsters in a cluster, Mages
also gain experience each turn they use their healing ability.

Wizard- Cut AD in half to attack 2 monsters.

Gunner- Instant kill on first attack. (Only once per battle, and exludes 'Boss' battles.)

Knight- Each time Knight kills a monster the same level as the Knight or higher, he/she may attack again.

Ninja- Avoid monster damage during the Ninja's 1st and 2nd turn.

Archer- Attack 3 times during the Archer's 1st turn.

Summoner- Summon monster to aid in battle. (Starts out as a level 1 monster.) Monster gains exp. points for making
the kill, while the Summoner will get the exp. points if he/she gets the kill. Summoner has to take 2 turns to summon
monster. When attacking a standard group of monsters, the monsters not being attacked will attack who/what is attacking.

Warlock- Can take an amount of HP from oneself to deal that much bonus AD back out.

Samurai- Attacks once more after the enemy attacks. Samurai's extra attack can only
be used on an enemy that has attacked the Samurai that turn.

Sorcerer- Cuts AD in half to attack all opponents in round one.

Templar- Automaticaly blocks 1 strong elemental attack on all team-mates each turn.
Templar cannot block attacks on him/herself, and the ability excludes boss battles

Time Lord- On the first turn, before attacking, a Time Lord can select up to one half of the enemies in
a cluster and 'remove' them from the field until the Time Lord's third turn, right before the Time Lord attacks.
This ability is known as 'Temporal Shift'.

Sure. It can be a tricky class, but it can also be fun.

Also, you can have one elemental power, while your
monster has another. This variety in elemental alignment,
can benefit you greatly.

Your level 1 monster would start out with an attack of 20,
and 50 health points

HP-50
AD-20

The Mage class's ability to heal others improves as the mage levels up.
Also, there will be points later in the game where the Mage will be able
to do a lot more... (I don't want to give too much away)

It should also be noted, that when you are a Mage
(or Templar) you are everybody's best friend.

A Gunner can be good at taking out a key target in a monster cluster.
Gunners do need help though when dealing with large amounts of
enemies. I wouldn't use a Gunner as a stand alone fighter, But when
in a party, there's always strength in numbers. Gunners eventualy are
able to use multiple insta-kills though.

By the way, if any of you want to start your characters, simply go to your
Character Profile Thread, and post your character's name, class, and
elemental alignment, and I'll set it up for you. (If you decide on the
Summoner class, don't forget to add your monster's name and
elemental alignment.)

Made some minor changes to the classes:

When the Summoner class is trying to Summon a monster onto
the field durring the first turn, (takes 2 turns) the Summoner can
attack at that time.

Along with gaining exp points from defeating an enemy monster,
a Mage can also gain exp points each turn the Mage's healing
abillity is used.
