In short, I am tired of the prude police. Yes, I said it. The funny thing is that I haven't personally received much in the way of chastisement but those I have seen such things have all been ridiculously petty things.
I just don't feel comfortable posting there anymore as I don't like having to constantly watch my back for Tsk tsking.
Beyond that, I have no issue with them so I have no intention of making an enemy but I am sensitive to the fact that a number of members have dual membership and this impacts them. So I am opening this up to crew debate, obviously, since I posted it here.

I am going to refer you to my journal for the rating system. I apologize for the accusatory nature of my tone but I am starting to find it insulting to see public threats made on your members for commentary that wouldn't even raise a moderator's brow. It seems especially out of place given the nature of a number of members who don't get such treatment. Just the other day, Utena had a nude purple chibi dancing about and the only reason it annoyed me is because of the actions I've seen taken with other members.

If you see my post I said she was getting close to the PG13 line. I didnt give her a warning. If you have a problem with the way i help run the clan then by all means pm Kitten. We have had alot of complaints recently about what had been going on in the thread. Im sure if you were a Elder in the DoG you would know that. We are trying to create a friendly environment where sisters of all ages can feel conferable.

And the constant state of fantasy streetwalker wear and auctioning off dates could be seen as prostitution. Everything is up to interpretation that isn't my issue. My issue is that I am feeling less and less comfortable in your thread because of how I see things ran. A warning I saw as something to be included in a pm is being broadcast as a public post. Everything remotely sexual or innuendo in nature is getting some kind of odd clamp down. I am not taking this up with Kitten because I am taking it up with you.
If I wanted to make a big deal of it, I would take it to her. As it stands I can respect you enough to talk about problems to your face. It is part of being an adult, I don't need a mommy figure to report to if I have a concern.

However, I cannot in good conscience continue to ignore this problem since it is now making me increasingly uncomfortable to go into your thread.

It wasnt a warning, It was merely me informing her she was getting to close to the line. If I were going to hand out a official warning I would have pmed her. I made that post in the thread rather then a pm so other people dont see it and think it's ok, and they know not to get that close either. If I had known it was going to be such a problem I would have done things differently. This is how i was told to do things along time ago. Not only I do it but the other elders used to do it aswell.
It may continue to be a problem. As long as our sister's complain about it, it's a problem. Ive had sisters leave offer this stuff recently. I dont want to lose more people. So as long as I continue to lose sisters and people complain. It will always be a problem. Im sorry you dont feel comfortable but until I leave the DoG this is how I do things. This is how i was taught to do things and this is how Ive seen things done.
I dont want us to lose our alliance, but thats completely up to you. The DoG I know has no problem with you clan. So if you do call off your alliance you can come back and request again at any time. It would also pose a problem for the members of both clans. In our rules it states that members of a different clan have to be allianced. I will have to inform Kitten of what to do if it came to that.

And nowhere did she state she was going to cyber with me, see the problem? And this continues to be an ongoing issue and I honestly can't see well, the honesty in it. I've already stated examples of how this isn't being handled evenly and I find it highly uncomfortable to see random prude police warnings by people who's costume wouldn't even be seen outside of a rated R movie. It is petty but still disconcerting.
I am losing patience with these minor and constant issues. I am also wary of a clan that I can't simply post without having to look over my proverbial back. And... Now I am done bothering you with this. I will however suggest you watch Young Frankenstein and learn what PG-13 vs PG really is. It is PG but filled with innuendo and awesome humor. Perhaps there should be a reevaluation of your rules since you say PG-13 and are more like G.
Anyway, I'm done. I have a discussion to have with my own clan now and then report my decision to my other allies so everybody is on the same page. gonk
None of it was even a problem before we started to get excessive complaints about it. Alot of our active members are very open and we have always encouraged that. Now that we keep getting complaints from our older sisters about the way people have been acting we have all been thrown through a loop of how to deal with it.
Me and another member have also been pushing we change the rule form PG-13 to 18 and older. Not necessarily rated R but it will keep people from reporting the small stuff to me or any other elder for being against the rules.
Ive actually seen that movie a millions times and can recite it word for word. My dad is a huge Mel Brooks fan.

I think if you actually spelled out PG-13, you would get less cretinous complaints. It seems that most of those complaining lack a grasp of the rating system. And sure, we're done as we are in circles now.
