My ferret is having seizures and I'm really upset, I don't know why, he just suddenly started having seizures and its the most pathetic thing you'd ever see, he foams at the mouth, his head arches behind his back and he starts this high pitch cry, its so sad -____-
Give me some comfort guys?

Zhaff hope it works out dude my kitten had seizures and just one day she kept having them and ended up dying so the vet is the best move gonk I remember when you posted that sometime around when that happened. Seizures are never a good thing, but it seems their is usually good medication for it now-a-days. Hope everything works out.

Good luck man. He'll pull through; ferrets are strong, stubborn animals.

Yeah, I can see that Gneo. But you guys, I'm just, I dont know, shattered? but the Vet said its called Canine something or other, and its not seizures, but its similiar, the disease has damaged his brain, so he twitches and goes into fits on occasion, and the doctor said the rate of survival for Ferrets from this diseas is less than 10% and if he doesnt show any improvent by next Thursday, he'll have to be put down -_______-

Whoa I'm sorry man. That really sucks.
I remember I rescued a ferret that was sick too a few months ago. Thing was butt naked, Skin and bones and was about to die. It also was having fits and or seizures much like what your ferret is doing. But the ASPCA called me a few weeks later and said he had gotten better and was being token to a new home. So maybe there is hope for yours?
