Have you ever been puked on at a show by a 50 year old woman with a fake pink mustache?
No? Well, neither have I. But I'm sure you all have great concert stories or maybe are excited about an upcoming show?
Anyways, whatever it is, I'd love to read all about it. : D

I went to a Nevershoutnever! concert last month. (I know, most of you think he fails epically, but...) He was actually very good live. And I'm going to see Jack's Mannequin in a bit! And WarpedTour is coming up...

Saw Iron and Wine during the Twilight Music Series in Utah, and he had lent in his beard. Also saw Bon Iver in Utah during the TMS, both shows were free. Lame, but I went to X Fest for free, and the drummer from Atreyu gave me a drum stick.. he said he liked my lobes. Was in the front row at a Lupe Fiasco show, and got a water thrown at me from some reason.

Jack's Mannequin-- Imagine hundreds of twentysomething rockers with beer bottles in hand all singing "Deep In The Heart of Texas." And then the singer jumped up on the piano and started swinging on the beams of the ceiling. Tons of fun!

My friends are lame. They won't go to Hawksley Workman and Jill Barber tonight but they'll go to Our Lady Peace tomorrow. I've got nothing against OLP but they're not Hawksley.

Have you guys ever gone to concerts alone? I was really tempted tonight but eventually decided that I just don't want to be that lonely. I've only been to one concert solo and it was kind of depressing. I left halfway through even though it was Broken Social Scene and they were pretty awesome.

Well, she was freaking out the whole time because there was a guy dancing next to me. Come on! Everyone was dancing and she was like, "You need to move away from my daughter."

Oh, wow! I knew you all had great stories. C:

@xChris: You didn't drink it, right? gonk

@whateverfloats: I've gone alone to most of the concerts I've been to.
At first I was stupid enough to buy people tickets to shows I wanted to go to so they'd go with me (as I knew no one that liked the same bands I do where I lived) and the 3 times I did that people stood me up.
So, I don't find it as depressing going alone (it's either that or not going to shows). I'm kind of more used to that then going with friends anyways. And when you go alone it's easier to meet interesting people.

@Linda: Moms always overreact. But the older you get, the least they do! And I'm sure if you tell her nicely that was kind of embarrassing, she won't freak out as much next time.

I told my mom. She was like, "He was getting too close to you. He was in his twenties!" Pssshhh! I didn't care-- he was intensely beautiful!

I've gone to mostly average shows. Well, great music, just not any noteworthy stories.

I have seen too many people pass out. I can never get used to seeing that!
And someone having a really bad trip.

However, I saw my first concert in an ice rink (Death Cab, ok, and it was 6 years ago haha) and last week it's roof collapsed! It was on national news. No one was injured!

Wow. D:

Today I got horrible news, I was going to see The xx live on Sunday, but the show got canceled as the rest of their European dates because Romy's father died yesterday.
