I'm having trouble putting a spirit in my golem, or more, getting a spirit to come to me. Tips?

I'm not 100% sure how to put a spirit in a golem but to get one to come near you ummm well I'm not sure how to do that either. From what little I know about spirits they tend to attach themselves to people and things. I think you'd have to be able to see them to do it (if you can't that is) if you can see them and still can't..I'm not sure. I just don't know how to put a spirit into a golem so that's sort of where I'm stuck. Like I know what a golem is and sort of how to make the shell but to link the spirit with the golem is something I'm not familiar with.

Normally a golem is a mindless creature that only obeys commands written on paper put in it's mouth. I'm trying to create a living golem, one that can think for itself.

interesting, I've heard of people doing things like that....why don't you try mixing in some alchemy? I've heard that golems themselves are a form of alchemy.

Recently I've looked into a good alchemist in my area but hav only found crackheads and fools claiming experience in the magical arts.

that is a hard thing to do, try getting a book on alchemy yourself? Calling spirits to you would more than likely be the easiest part of it, I think getting them into the golem might be the hard part.
