-2. The basics. PG-17 thread, no cybering but romance is encouraged. You all have some sense of your limits. If it gets to hot, time skip it. I don't want people really fighting. Come on, is it needed? No. Thank you. And really, don't hurt anyone seriously. Unless they say it's ok, then I really have no control over that. Make sure to differentiate OOC. With ( ) or (( )), [ ], [[ ]], { }, {{ }}. OOC, OoC, ooc, anything. Just make sure we know it's in OOC please. There will be an OOC thread, so don't have whole random conversations in this main thread, it screws everyone up.
-3. Literacy and Posting now! I really want this to go somewhere. A lot of roleplays don't get very far. And I really want this one to work. I'm not asking you to write a novel or anything but I do want a decent sized post. Try 2-3 paragraphs? If you can't pull that off then this isn't the Role Play for you. Alright write in 10 or 11 font. Not everyone can read size 9 font easily and size 12 is too large. So 10 or 11. Write in third person. Sometimes writing in first is easier but I say third so you write in third. Make your posts pretty! We all like to look at something nice if we have to read it.
-4. More on posting. Not all of us have lives outside of Gaia. I, for example, do not. But, since a bunch of you do... I'm not asking for you to post every single day, that's absurd, but a couple times a week, to keep up with those of us that are on all the time. And if you know you're going to be gone for a time, make sure to tell me. Also, if you decide to quit, tell me that too. If you're not posting for a week, I'll send you a PM. You have two days to reply to that PM before you're out.
-5. Profiles. Profiles can be written in first and third person. You must use real pictures! No anime or drawn. real pics are better! Don't change up the basic format of the profile format, I will know, and I will make you fix it. Be creative with it.
-6. If I am absent or offline, it means that I have been grounded...whoohoo. I will be able to monitor what's going on though, if I can sneak on or something. Believe me, I don't usually go more than two days without being online.
-7. I can do whatever I want, deal with it.

Rules for the campers
x. No fighting
x. Always listen to your counselors
x. Curfew is at 11. That means in your cabins and lights out at 11. Do not explore anywhere other than the regular areas without first consulting a counselor.
x. No illegal substances on camp grounds.
x. You are not here to make a fashion statement. At least wear some slightly modest clothes. We're in the woods, you don't need tight jeans or short shorts and random accessories.
x. No electronics! None at all. There are phones at the camp if you need to contact someone.

Maybe you were searching for a summer camp. Somewhere that you'd have fun. Just be able to forget school and your friends for a while. Maybe your parents were looking for you. And they stumbled upon this place. Or they heard from a friend. Maybe you heard of it from a friend. Either way, you found Camp Red Maple. Just a place where lesbian teens can be themselves, without the pressure of anyone else. Even if it is just for a month. Sometimes all you need is a break from your daily routine. Meet new people, make new friends. If you're new in realizing or accepting your sexuality, or if you've had multiple boy or girl friends already. Either way, we welcome you with open hearts and minds. If you need help, we're here. Someone to talk to, that's us.

 Camp Activities Rock Climbing-Done on the 40 foot high natural rock wall. Supervised by the Second Guy Counselor
Hiking-Done in the woods of the camp. Supervised by Second Guy Counselor
Art-Done in the small art cabin by the dinning hall. Supervised by Woman Counselor Two.
Swimming/Canoeing-Done in the large lake in the camp. Supervised by First Guy Counselor.
Horseback Riding-Takes place in the small barn and fenced in riding area outside of it. There are only six horses. Supervised by First Woman Counselor.

Announcements First Day: Campers will take a plane or have their parents drive them to Onianta, New York. From the Onianta Airport, at two o'clock, the twelve campers will be taken by school bus to the camp grounds. A half hour drive from the airport. At the camp the campers will be given their schedules for all of their activities. This will take place in the dining cabin, where the camp director will give a small speech to everyone and the rest of the day is for the campers to meet and get to know each other and the camp better.
