So, here I am behind the counter at my favorite hobby store and I see one copy of Pathfinder on the shelves. I gave it a look, and its pretty interesting (especially if you don't like 4e D&D).
For those who don't know Pathfinder was made by Paizo, the same company that published Dungeon and Dragon magazine for 3.5 D&D. Basically, its still 3.5 with some of the rules tweaked to make it stand out from Dungeons and Dragons. However from reading the introduction, they made it to where you can also use any magazine from their previous publishing and incorporate it into any Pathfinder game. How cool is that? So, would you give it a try? I might, once I get the money to buy one. sweatdrop
Update 3/17/10: I got the book 2 days ago, and its looking rather sweet to me. I do plan on running another game, but whether or not I do it will depend on how many other people are willing to play.

I've played it once, was very similar to 3.5. I'd be up for a pathfinder campaign.

Is there a system reference document for it on open source?

I have the core rulebook and I've downloaded all the free stuff I can find. Been eager to try a game, maybe look at converting some of the 3.5 stuff they haven't gotten around to yet.

Thanks Valin! biggrin Well, truth be told...I want to run another campaign after Loved to Death. But I'm actually thinking between two:
-D&D 3.5/Pathfinder
or
-D&D 4e

Well, personally, I would put my money in Pathfinder. That's just personal preference though, and the fact that I have neither the time, patience, nor resources to learn a new set of rules.

Okay I've come, lets update ya.
So aside from the official Paizo messageboards where you can go and check up on all the coolio discussions going on about Pathfinder and related products. Which includes things like General Discussion, Rules Questions, Homebrew, and Conversions.
There are TWO Pathfinder SRD, one Official, one Fan Made. BOTH are great resources, the fan made having some additional information and bonuses like fan content that they official doesn't. Though I prefer the official myself.
Aside from this there is the Pathfinder Database website. This is a collection of homebrew content from players, and DM's from around the world.
They have quite a few interesting bits of suggestions and what not. I myself have quite a few >.>
Anyway. I am running a pathfinder game right now, and may be in the field of running some more.
PATHFINDER is the WAY TO GO. In my opinion at current, and I believe it shall remain.
Links for your pleasure. Have any questions, PM me.

Fan SRD (Use this one if you like, probably the better of the two, I just prefer Official) http://www.d20pfsrd.com/

All glorious 96 and growing pages of it.
