indeed I liked it much much. BUT, yes theres always a but with me,
the end was...I dunno, I dont think Light should have begged and become crazy, it wasnt like the character.
And I hate Near, hes f**, L was the best. Why did he died?!?!?! TT__TT
But the manga was awesome, I didnt want it to end ^^;
Didnt watch the anime though, but you should all know by now, I hate animes lol

It was actually not a bad anime, but it did get really old, and boring quickly.

I read the manga online before it hit America and the whole fangirl craz happened. I loved it until i hit the ending.
The three movies are awesome too, though of course changed severely.
I must say, I can't stand L. I support Kira.

It ends with Light killing L, taking his place, then killing off every one of his allies in an insane blitz until Ryuk gets bored and kills him. The best part? Light becomes a Shinigami, and he looks bad-a**. Would you like the link?

i like Death note it's a great anime ... and i think it show soemhow the true life ... the one who finnaly could stop the criminals has been stoped by the ones who should stop the criminals ... ... more short .. the justice doesn't work ...
the ideea with the notebook that can kill humans is so interesting so the person who go this ideea sure is a really cretive and full of imagination person ... wish (in really life ) i could have a death note just like Light and can kill ppls with it twisted

i havnt watched the anime or read the manga but i watched and own the 3 movies i have to say number 2 is my fave out of them only cause i found the pace in the first movie a little slow for my liking though i understand that the pace was needed for the back story and to explain why things were the way they were.

Didnt watch the anime though, but you should all know by now, I hate animes lol "L" was the best i agree with you but if he didnt died that would mean Kiba would of diead early in the series and the creater/ witer of the manga (sorry i dont remember his name) didnt want that.

I really liked the anime. However, I was not in favor of the ending. As seemingly complicated as they made all of the little traps that Kira and L set for eachother, I don't see how Kira was caught by one set up by Near. It wasn't nearly as clever as half of the things he got out of in the previous episodes. Why should he fall so easily now? Doesn't make sense to me. sweatdrop

I saw the first episodes and it was awesome! I'm watching more than one anime at the time so it might take quite a long time to watch it all....
