Okay. Here's an idea I have. I'm thinking there will be pets here, but shoul they be dragons or pegasi? Or maybe any other ideas? Post your ideas here!

Oh and if you did have pets, you'd have to make a profile for it. You won't need it approved, just make you stable for the animal and post it there. But you may NOT make it now. We are simply deciding amoung the idea.....what do you think?

Well, I noticed that in some student profiles they had already known about the magical world, while others were normal kids who had just found out about their powers. So we could have both magical creatures (like dragons, pegasi, hippogriffs, griffins, etc.) and also normal household or wild pets (like cats, dogs, birds, reptiles, wolves, wildcats, etc.).
And maybe one of the teachers could show students spells that make their pets talk, cook breakfast, do their homework... (okay, maybe not the last one XD)

How about if you can describe it and name it and control it, you can keep it as a pet? (within reason, of course, and put limitations on things like size and what-not, keeping a 34 ft. dragon or something would be very inconvenient.)

Choices are always good. Give us a few choices, and let us choose. (But will the pets be raised from birth, or given some time during development, or adults, or what? How is this going to work?)

We're figuring it all out. Don't worry. So the decision has been made then? You get to choose from a wolf, a dragon, or a pegasi? And you will be given the pet as not a baby, but...well in human age, for reference...10.

So the pet will be able to transform?
Also, I think the pet should have something similar with what school you're in. For example, some desert animal shouldn't be put with an Ice student, or vice versa.

Although it might be good for students to have pets of a different School than them. I think the Dean said students could study another School as a supplimentary class, like a Fire student studying Balance spells as a minor while learning Fire spells as a major. We could have the pets be like "tutors" for the secondary class.
