I just saw the PJO movie. The title of this thread just about sums up the plot. There was about ONE THING that made sense. They pulled out so much, it was ridiculous, then they added so much crap it didn't make sense. My friend and I -literally- banged our heads against the seat arm. It was utterly depressing what they did to it. Annabeth was NOTHING like Annabeth. She didn't even have her cap! *Not to mention the fact that the shoes didn't drag him to Tartarus. They were just shoes- with wings, of course.* I was really disappointed with the movie. I mean really - *janitors of doom?!?*

FINALLY Somebody else thinks that! I haven't even seen it yet but I started crying when I saw the trailers. Everybody is like "It's awesome!" but it's nothing like the book. I am very disappointed in it.

If you see it- try not to think of it as Percy Jackson. Then it'll just be a crappy movie, instead of someone taking something beautiful and ripping it to horrible ugly shreads.

I saw a clip, and Ms. Dodds wasn't even killed. That made me cry, personally.Why did they allow that?

I thought it was good. You're never going to be happy with a book turned into a movie. It was different, but I still liked it.
One thing annoyed me:
*From what I remember, the cabins didn't have walls. And the cabins looked alike.*

I agree that books are always better than movies, but they did a great job with Harry Potter and I was expecting them to do well with Percy too. I think the directors are a bunch of idiots. DEATH TO THE DIRECTORS!!!

I saw the movie earlier today with my older and younger sisters, and my older sister boyfriend. During the whole movie I kept rolling my eyes. It felt like pure murder.
The things that killed me were:
* There was no Ares.
* No Clarissa.
* They changed the way they found out he was Poseidon's kid.
* I think Brandon T. Jackson did a good job as Grover, but they wrote Grover to be to perverted and they didn't make him a nervous reck.
* Where was Cerberus?! crying
* When Luke showed up to fight Percy. I mean seriously did they had to edit how they found out Luke was the Lightening Thief?
* There are some other things...Oh yeah! Where was the mummfied Oracle! For crying out loud I wanted to see a dead Hippie!

So many things wrong!
-Annabeth was not Annabeth. She had no cap of invisability!!!
-Percy got claimed right away.
-They were too old.
-No Oracle or prophecies.
-Since when did Persephone help them???
-How did Luke become the Lightning Thief?
-They killed Luke, unless he survives getting stabbed by a trident and flung into the sea.
For the last reason, I don't think that they can make any other movies.

I read a review somewhere about the movie. They made it so that the movie could just be the one movie in case it doesn't make enough money. If it makes enough money then they'll make the rest of the movies.
