Zyriga's house was a result of his success in collecting and saving money in the numerous battles and jobs he's participated in. Back then he didn't stay in it a whole lot since he was always traveling wherever he needed to go in order to make his money, but now with this Cal's shop being his main source of income, he was more likely going to have more time to go home and relax some. Since he was in the house before he came and found the shop everything was already cleaned replaced and tossed. The basement was a small armory and weapons display with all kinds of modern guns and close range weapons.

Teyha followed Zyriga home quietly, keeping her head low to keep from offending the man. He led her to a modern looking two story mansion next to the water of the edge of town. Teyha paused for a moment, staring up at the structure for a few long moments to analyze what kind of a man her new master was.

She entered the house with a respectful nod, standing awkwardly in the entranceway as she looked out into the living room. 'He likes order...' She told herself as she she looked at the orderly room.

Zyr walked right into the room and he sighed softly as he hopped right into the couch and he sighed softly as he felt the embrace of the cool and gentle cushions. His eyes opened slowly and they fell on Teyha and he cocked his head some. "What are you standing over there for, taking in the place? You're welcome to come over and take a seat if you'd like."

He smiles seeing her body gestures tight, she seemed a bit too rigid. "Don't be so tense, all that work we did and your going to keep your muscles like that. It won't be good for you in the morning when you start feeling it"

Zyriga brushed past Teyha and strolled right into the living room, plopping down onto his couch with a tired sigh. Teyha watched him for a moment before he opened his eyes, and tilted his head to the side to study her. Teyha nodded slightly to his invitation, and walked cautiously in, still studying the room and the shopkeeper closely in an attempt to get her bearings right.

She chose to sit in the center of the couch across from Zyr, back straight, and she dropped her eyes to the floor. "Stiff muscles aren't an issue with witches." She told him softly, "I can smooth away minor damage with little problem." Not really an advised technique for witches to use, since it is difficult to heal what you cannot see, but relatively harmless none the less.

Truth be told, Teyha felt out of place. The entire house was spotless, organized, and stylish. Each detail screamed of comfort as well as modern sophistication, stylish without being over the top. While she was a mess. She cropped her hair and darkened it to black when she ran from her home, and it fell in disheveled curls around her face, hanging low to cover her eyes, and hide the delicate features of her face from view. Her petite body was completely drown under layers of loose clothing, hiding the soft curves of womanhood from curious eyes. They were deliberate fashion choices, to further hide her sexuality, but made her feel out of place all the same.

Zyr sighed softly as he scooted back to rest his head on an arm of the couch while letting one leg hang off the side and remain on the floor. He listened to Teyha and he nodded in acknowledgment of her point.

He glanced over and he still was able to sense that she was in a state of discomfort. He wondered if it was him, but it didn't seem to be so when they were working at the shop. He thought some more before he decided that the only thing he could do was offer her a change of environment and maybe some time for herself.

"Well I'm pretty sure you want to clean up since you had to have the ride in that van only to have to help clean up an entire shop. Come, I'll show you your room. I recommend washing what you have here and after we sort out whichever orders come in tomorrow, I can take you shopping for some more clothing. I mean I have a few things here...but I don't see them fitting you...might be within your fashion sense...but...you know"

Teyha raised her hands and shook her head as if to fend off the offer. "I am fine here, Master, no need to bother yourself. You worked just as hard as I did, after all. You should sit and rest." She gave him a slight smile as she watched him lounge, completely relaxed on the cofa, even if his leg was hanging off.

She laughed to herself softly before shaking her head again at the offer for clothes. "I suppose I do need something to change into, but there's no need to waste too much money, there's a grocery store that sells a few things in town, I could swing by and pick up some jeans and a few tee-shirts next time we have to shop." She told him quietly, sinking back into the couch with a sigh. She tilted her head to grin at him briefly, "I would say I'd wear what you have laying around, but I don't think even a belt could hold your pants on me."

Zyr grinned and chuckled a little at her comment about his pants being too big for her even with a belt and he sighed softly, shifting in the couch. "I won't force it on you...whatever you feel comfortable wearing. I think we only really have to worry about our clothes if by some chance Cal sent me a invitation to some kind of ball or dance. And by invite I'm practically being forced to go." He says with a laugh.

He sighs softly and he keeps his eyes on her for some time and curiosity grew in him. He didn't know anything about Teyha. Not that he was expecting her to spill everything to him right away, but right now he just knew that she was a white witch that seemed to have a thing for male clothing.

"So Teyha...do you have a story you feel up for telling?" He asked simply before offering a gentle smile to convey encouragement and understanding if she chose not to tell him anything.

Zyr grinned at her and laughed softly as she jokes lightly with him, and it helped the little witch relax some. "Would Cal send an invite to a dance?" She asked, sounding surprised by the statement, "I mean, I can see you're really wealthy, but not all Masters attend formal balls or anything like that... Right?"

She brushed her hair out of her eyes, giving Zyr a long look when he asked if she had anything to share. "Erm... Not much to say on me." She said cautiously, tensing slightly again as she was reminded about the reason she became a slave to begin with. "I'm fifteen, I'm a witch, and I sold myself into slavery a few days ago... There really isn't much else you'd be interested in, I would think..." She paused, forcing a smile, "And how about you, anything you'd like to share?"

Of course... She didn't tell him that she was a runaway from her birth family, or any of the details of her escape. In fact, besides her age and species she doubted anything he knew about her was too accurate. Even her name she changed when she left to enter slavery. But, those details could wait...

Zyriga raises an eyebrow and he smiled at her question. "Well let's put it this way, if I get invited by Cal, then you're going with me or I'm not going all together. It'll be nice to have someone aside from him to make me feel a little less awkward around those other bigwigs. I may have money but I don't consider myself on the same league as Cal or many of those high-class people you see with their nose up in the air.

With a small grunt he sits himself up on the couch and scoots back into it before letting out a gentle sigh to relax himself once more. A little detail caught his eye and got his gears turning. He looked at her quizzically and spoke softly "So you said you sold yourself to slavery, of your own free will? Interesting..." His head was wrapping all over that little detail. Why did she sell herself? Was she trying to escape something or someone by making herself a slave? If she was what was it that could make slavery more appealing?

After a moment he blinked hearing her ask right back about his own story. He smiles and leans back in the couch. "Well let's see. If you couldn't tell I'm a half-demon, half human. I can change between both forms at will but it takes a lot of energy for me to maintain it and the only way for me to maintain the form should I want to is by consuming souls or blood, preferably souls. My left arm maintains a pretty demonic appearance as well as access to several abilities and usage of demonic tools while in human form. I can always safely access my powers with just my arm and absorbing souls into it only makes it stronger and stored energy for me to change if need be. For the sake of convenience I seal it in a arm belts so it doesn't scare others or cause any accident with anyone who makes contact with it. Like sheathing a sword"

He pulls his coat off on his left side and from the view of his tank top, shows her the belts on his arm, forming a glove on his hand while the rest went up to his shoulder. past the belts over some on his shoulder there was evidence of a blending black and red color going into the belts, which inferred the color of his arm.

"My mother Hethiah was the demon and my father, Grath, was human. When I was eleven I got to witness a bad fight that broke between them. Apparently someone brought evidence that my father was sleeping with another woman. The end result what my mother killing and devouring my father. I'm pretty sure she did the same to the woman. But out of fear and shock, I ran away and never turned back. I spent many years using my power as a force motivated by money. Not picking sides and killing who or whatever I needed to to get paid.

Things for me were pretty simple, I was scum and I got paid for it...but then I met Cal. The old me hated him...maybe because he was so much like me. Well I fought him and lost...he spared my life and I became his bodyguard. For some time it was humiliating, but after a while I grew to like the job, to like Cal. We became good friends and he's helped me out a lot in many ways. I wouldn't be anywhere near where I'm at now if it weren't for him."
He sighs softly and turns towards her and shrugs softly while smiling. "Any questions?"

Teyha tilted her head and smiled, "You don't seem like a snuck up snob to me either." She told him with a quirk of her lips, and shifted positions on the couch. She bought her legs under her, crossing her ankles as she curled on the couch. She stretched a little and laid on her side, her arm tucked under her head to use as a pillow as she watched her new Master. "But I can't dance, and would look horrible in a dress. Fair warning."

She nodded when he asked about her willing to sell herself into slavery, a slight tightening of her jaw the only warning of how touchy that subject was before Zyr launched into his own tale. Teyha nodded quietly, listening in interest as he told of his life.

She raised a brow when he spoke so easily of consuming soul to gain power, a slight frown pulling at her lips. As a healer she found the idea of destroying a soul distasteful, but tried not to let that detail disturb her too terribly as Zyr continued his story.

She gave him a sympathetic smile when he was done, pushing herself up onto her elbow. "So, Cal really helped you out, huh?" She asked weakly, unable to think of anything else to say, not wanting to pull up bad memories that the man night just want to forget. She was honestly surprised he was so honest and open with her about his past, especially when she told him nothing of her own. "I'm a runaway." She said at last, flopping back onto the couch after giving that small piece of information on herself. "I left my family because I figured a life of possible misery beat one of guaranteed misery." She shrugged, quoting one of her favorite book characters, "'It was time to roll the dice'."

Zyr smiles at her warning of being unable to dance and not looking good in a suit. "Well I can't say I'm one to go out on the dance floor of my own accord. I only know how to dance because I was forced to get lessons. And as far as I can tell...there's something for all occasions everyone can look good in. You just haven't found your dress because you have no interest in looking. But if it turns out that way, we'll find one"

He listened as she confessed that she ran away from her family. It was in the direction that he suspected, but he was saddened to hear that it was her own family that was generating a despair for her to take her chances with slavery. "I think if this was how you weighed your options then I agree with you. I don't know what your family subjected you to nor will I pry or obligate you to tell me, but whatever it is, I'd like to think you made a rather good dice roll this time around. At least I'll try to make it that way"

Teyha made a face at the idea of wearing a dress. She liked her over-sized clothing and layered look. It wasn't particularly attractive, but that was her goal, to keep eyes off her. After her family experiences her wanted nothing to do with sexuality or intimacy in general, which flowery dresses and accessories only seemed to invite.

Teyha nodded solemnly, burying her face in the crook of her arm. "I want nothing to do with my family." She told him in a muffled tone, "If I just ran away my parents could track me down with the police, and because I am a minor I'd be forced to return... But.." She peeked out t watch him for a moment. "When someone becomes a slave they become a possession, and legally their master gains full custody, regardless of age. Even if my parents did track me down and tried to battle the legal decision it'd take years to overrule and by then I'd probably be an adult anyway."

Zyr smiles seeing the look she made, he could tell that she didn't like the idea, but it only reminded him of how he disliked the process of learning how to dance and attending the balls himself.

His expression became more serious when he listened to her wanting to avoid her family at all costs and slavery being the best method to do so. Which was true, he's seen many cases on television with minors in slavery and all sorts of confusion with the process of finding a ruling for them. "Well as your master and the person who thinks you deserve some happiness, if you're looking to avoid them...if they come this way I'll defend you"

Teyha's eyes closed for a moment as she sighed as she started to doze some. All the commotion and confusion of the day left her physically and emotionally drained, and exhaustion was catching up to her.

Until Zyr spoke. Teyha's eyes snapped open and she sat straight up, staring at the man with a bewildered expression. No one had bothered to offer her aid, not even those paid to do so... So why did this man who owned her anyway? It wasn't as though helping her would benefit him any, and Masters had no real obligation to defend their property. "You will?" She asked hoarsely, her eyes never leaving his, searching for that bit of honesty. "Even with no idea why I'm avoiding them... You'd protect me?"

Zyr smiles catching her nodding off a little, it seemed at though he should bring things to a close shortly. The both of them needed rest, for tomorrow would be another adventurous day in the shop.

But he saw her expression when he told her he would defend her. It seemed to hold some disbelief, but also a side of hope. The hope that she could believe his words and know that there was someone she could turn to in order to help. He smiles and closes his eyes slowly "Yes Teyha...what kind of master would I be if I didn't take care of you when I could? It seems pretty neglectful if you ask me."
