NickNames:

Mermaid~A mystical creature. A mermaid is a young woman of the merfolk (or "merpeople"); from the waist up, she is most likely a beautiful maiden with flowing hair and generous proportions, while from the waist down, she has the tail of a fish or dolphin. Mermaids, along with appearing physically beautiful, are also gifted with beautiful singing voices. Aside from the young women, the other merpeople are rarely shown.

Mermaids are known for falling in love with human men, and many ships and sailors are said to have been dragged under the waves by the watery nymphomaniacs. Others are known to play tricks on seafarers. Still others are known for saving people who are in trouble at sea.

Then there is "the mermaid problem": despite being an enticing woman from the waist up, it is not known how these creatures procreate, which has led many human males to great frustration and many mermaids to great confusion. Still, if you don't think to hard about it, it works out well... especially if merpeople have the ability to assume full human form rather than half-fish, half-human.
"Look out, lad, a mermaid be waiting for you
In mysterious fathoms below"
-Lyrics from the opening of "The Little Mermaid"

Cassie~Beautiful, but they never admit it. They are very vulnerable, and they fall into peer-pressure often. Sweet, but they can be mean if provoked. Most tend to fall in love with the wrong people, and are very flirtacious. Their laughs are amazing, and they give great hugs. The bestest most awesomest friend ever. Always puts my needs in front of mine. Never selfish. Absolutely gorgeous. Funny, smart, beautiful and lucky. Every body likes her and I'm so happy that she is my best friend/sister! To be slightly mad, absent minded and self destructive. They are generally beautiful people in and out. A word coined from the e4 drama skins featuring the character "Cassie"

Princess~The sort of girl who has never had to work for a single thing in her life. She is usually sheltered to the point where it's ridiculous, and spoiled beyond belief. She has trouble accepting that there's anything wrong in the world and can hardly believe that there are people who don't have an American Express Platinum or a heated swimming pool. She's often gregarious, or, in some occasions, very much a b***h. There's one constant, however. She'll invariably be spoiled or somewhat snotty.

Yuna~A central character of both Final Fantasy X and Final Fantasy X-2 (also makes a cameo in Kingdom Hearts 2). She lived as a Summoner on Besaid, then left with Tidus, along with her other Guardians, including Lulu, Rikku, Kimahri, and Auron and eventually initiated the Final Summoning to banish Sin. Normally, a summoner doesn't survive this, but Tidus was killed in her place. Also, Sin is not banished for the normal 10-year period know as a "Calm", but is banished forever, making Yuna famous as the High Summoner who brought about the "Eternal Calm". In the next installment, Yuna is a Gunner with Rikku and Paine as part of the Gullwings. She is troubled by Tidus and refuses to believe he is dead. In KH2 she is a Heartless spy for Maleficent and eventually gives you the Gullwing keyblade.A character from the Final Fantasy series, very beautiful and intelligent.
She is willing to die to save the world, that's how incredible she is.
Yuna (after changing to Gunner dressphere): Resistance is futile!

Rinoa~Rinoa Heartilly is the lead heroine of SquareEnix' RPG master-piece, Final Fantasy VIII. Rinoa, contrary to popular belief, is neither a princess, nor is she a brat; she is perhaps the most human/multi-dimensional character to date. She is caring, beautiful, charming and courageous, whilst she is also bossy, frightened and demanding. Rinoa is the epitome of what it really means to be human, because no one is perfect.

Rinoa, unbeknownst even to herself, is a descendant of the great god Hyne, and therefore has the innate ability to be a sorceress. As the great epic that is FFVIII unravels, we find out that Rinoa is the sorceress Ultimecia from the future. Having lost her Knight, she became corrupted by her own power and more or less destroyed the world. She becomes bitter and twisted and so tainted by her own magic that her physical self morphs into that of a hideous beast.

Wanting to return to the time when she was young and beautiful, and had her lover Squall Leonhart by her side, she creates Time Kompression; a state of reality where all levels of time 'past, present & future' are combined. Destined to be slain by the man she loves, Ultimecia is vanquished and Time Kompression is reversed, thus sparing her younger self, Rinoa Heartilly from ever enduring such a fate again.

As Time is once again righted, Rinoa Heartilly lives happily ever after with Squall Leonhart.

LOL

OKay Now My Real Name:

To be the most amazing thing anyone has ever seen. The cutest, kindest, most perfect girl in the entire world. The prophetess Cassandra (kuh-san-drah), also known as Alexandra, was a Trojan princess. The daughter of King Priam and Queen Hecuba of Troy, she was also reknowned as the second most beautiful woman in the world at the time, Helen being the foremost. She made many correct prophecies, such as the downfall of Troy because of Paris' abduction of Helen, but she was never believed and her visions were disregarded and ignored.
"Where are you going? You will bring conflagration back with you. How great the flames are that you are seeking over these waters, you do not know." (Cassandra to Paris. Ovid, Heroides 16,120)
There are two versions to how she recieved her prophetic powers. In the first, she was given the gift of prophecy by Apollo after agreeing to lie with him. She then later rejected his lustful advances so he added a curse, making it so her prophecies would never be believed. The second version states that as small children, Cassandra and her twin brother Helenus fell asleep in the temple of Apollo after a feast in honor of their birthdays. When Hecuba came looking for them, she found temple serpents (considered sacred to Apollo and symbols of prophecy and wisdom) on them that were biting their 'organs of sense', meaning the brain. Helenus was later mentioned to possess the same gift of prophecy as Cassandra, even backing her prophecies with his own, but he did not have the curse she did. Shortly after her fiancee, Coroebus, was killed while defending her during the ill-fated battle after the Trojan horse incident, she sought refuge from the Greeks in the temple of Athena, but was captured when she was found clinging to the statue of Athena by the Locrian named Ajax and dragged out by the hair. It is said she was also raped by him, and that the statue of Athena gave a loud noise that shook the temple floor because Ajax had violated the sanctity of the temple. His descendants were punished for 1000 years after this incident to repay his great sin. Later, Cassandra was claimed as a prize of war by Agamemnon, and became his slave and concubine. He sailed home with her to Mycenae, where his lawful wife Clytemnestra lay in wait with her secret lover Aegisthus. When they were welcomed home, Cassandra hesitated outside, where she uttered these words:
"... for me waits destruction by the two-edged sword." Cassandra. Aeschylus, Agamemnon 1149

Shortly after, Agamemnon was murdered by Clytemnestra and Aegisthus, and Cassandra and the twin sons she supposedly bore to him were slain as well.
The name Cassandra came from the Greek Êáóóáíäñá (Kassandra), which meant "shining upon man", derived from êåêáóìáé (kekasmai) "to shine" and áíçñ (aner) "man". Other, more modern meanings have been assigned to the name, often negative and misguided. Those incorrect assumptions include 'Prophetess of Doom', 'Unbelieveable Truth', 'Deciever of Men', and many others. To call someone a Cassandra means their words, however correct the might be, are being ignored or overlooked, often to the detriment of those not paying heed.

I can't find anything about Nanami's name >.<

Uh...well I know Kozue means "tree top." It's a pun since Miki means "tree trunk." Together they make a tree I guess. Their parents must have been big fans of plant life or puns or both. Kozue's black rose episode is called "The view from Kozue" I think, which is also a pun since it would also translate to "The view from the tree top".

Matilda-
From the Germanic name Mahthildis meaning "strength in battle", from the elements maht "might, strength" and hild "battle". Saint Matilda was the wife of the 10th-century German king Henry I the Fowler. The name was brought to England by the Normans, being borne by the wife of William the Conqueror himself. It was popular until the 15th century in England, usually in the vernacular form Maud. Both forms were revived by the 19th century. This name appears in the popular Australian folk song 'Waltzing Matilda', written in 1895.
