You may or may not have noticed that the Avatar Contest subforum has become a ghost town. Well, I have decided to remedy that!
From now on, you may enter either your real avatar or a TekTek into the contest.
If a Real Avatar wins, the winner gets 10,000 gold.
If a TekTek wins, the winner only gets 1,000 gold.
I think this is fair, considering it costs money to actually make the avatar yourself, whereas TekTeking doesn't cost any money at all.
However! I also have another new rule:
If an avatar wins with an unanimous or near-unanimous voting, it wins the Landslide Bonus, doubling the amount of the prize. So basically, you could go home with 20,000 gold!
