Akira gazed out her room window in awe of the stars in the moon lit sky. The glow of the moon hitting her face in a way that made Akira's skin tone glow like the very stars she gazed upon.

"I know your out there"

she whispered as she walked over to her small overflowing closest and looked for her telescope so she could search for the aliens like she always did at this hour of the night.

"Where did I put it? I Know i put it in here"

Akira closed her closet door and sighed deeply in frustration. She then walked down stairs in search of any one in her family to ask them if they knew where her beloved telescop had gone....

[Sorry for the late post! Sister needed the computer...]

Tammy Watanabe

Tammy was busy with her sketch book and pencil in the living room. She was on the couch using her legs as a table for her sketch book. Papers, full of drawings with errors were scattered on a near-by table.

Tammy's favorite thing to draw was people and currently she resumed drawing a picture that looked like a boy. She seemed to be very happy with her progress.

Then she heard footsteps approaching her and saw it was Akira, with a somewhat annoyed expression. Tammy then took her pencil from her right hand to her left to do her "spinning" trick with her fingers.

"Something wrong?" she asked.

Akira looked up at her younger sister Tammy, they looked so different not like sisters at all. She envied Tammy and her good looks and her popularity. But she never let it show.

"Yeah, Have you seen my telescope it's always in my closet but it's not there now"

Akira glanced at her sisters pad of paper and then back up at Tammy.

"what are you working on now"

she asked not really interested, she really just wanted to find her telescope. This was so like Akira, so worked up over aliens and the paranormal she would never make time for friends or idle chatter with her family.

Tammy raised an eyebrow thinking where she saw her sister's lost telescope. She somewhat had ta slight photographic memory, which helped her when she drew things. Sometimes she could live the past few hours in her mind when she was bored; a reason why she could be seen in a daze or in a day-dream.

As she thought hardly to where she last saw Akira's telescope, she heard Akira's question.

Her cheeks turned a very light pink while she smiled patheticly."Uhh, well, honestly, I don't really know. The face just popped into my head earlier and I don't even know where I saw him. Maybe in school or in a day dream." There were many instances like that. And her family liked to tease her sometimes when she drew her crushes but Tammy hardly drew any recently.

Then after a few more attempts of thinking Tammy snapped her fingers and pointed at Akira.

"I think you left it in the car after that star-gazing thing we did a few days ago...I think it's still in the trunck." Tammy suddenly said.

Akira rolled her eyes at Tammy's answer. Another boy what a shock she thought to herself. Akira gasped as she recalled what Tammy had said.

"Your right1 I did leave it there"

She smiled big and ran out the door forgetting to thank Tammy for remembering where she had left her telescope. Once she reached the car she tried to open the door but failed.

"It's locked"

She groaned and stood their looking at the car hopelessly. No one else was home but Tammy and she was sure she didn't have the keys to the car. Akira was becoming frustrated with the situation it looked like she need to scram her lungs out.

"how am I gonna look for aliens now?!"

she rushed back inside the house angry and annoyed.

Tammy made a comforting expression, even after Akira's reaction to her sketch problem. She was use to it; kind of like an everyday thing.

"Locked huh? Mom probobly brought it with her when they went out earlier to one of their parties. Probobly thinkings we're going to runaway with the car, huh?" she joked tring to lighten Akira's mood.

Then she went back to drawing her "mystery boy" but struggled at some crooked lines. After a bit of drawing and erasing and lack of inspiration, Tammy gave up and looked up to Akira.

"Anything you want to do?" she asked while she fixed some papers that she scattered all over the place.
