Dom let Pichu out of his pokeball and smiled as he walked around in the tall grass with the Pichu hanging onto his pocket. He saw some tall grass next to him twitch and he balked up a pace or two. Pichu let go of his pocket and got ready to battle with whatever came from the grass. A poison sting launched at Pichu from th grass and Pichu dodged it with ease. A weedle peeked out of the grass and Dom opened up his Poke`disc to the poke`dex section. 'Weedle, the poison point poke`mon. It eats its weight in leaves everyday. It fends of attackers with the needle on its head' Dom looked at Pichu and Weedle who were having a starring contest at the moment. "Be careful Pichu" Pichu nodded and on its own will, used Thunder shock. The weedle wobbled and looked dazed.

Dom picked a poke`ball off of his belt and threw it at the weedle. It hit the Weedle and it was transformed into energy, and it was sucked into the Poke`ball.

The Poke`ball shook three times, but the pokemon broke out. The Poke`ball came back to Dom and he growled angrily. "Pichu, Tackle attack" The weedle lunged at Pichu, but he managed to dodge and strike a direct hit to the weedle. "It better work this time" The threw the poke`ball again, wishing for it to work. After three shakes the poke`ball made a dinging sound and he jumped for joy. He ran over and picked up the poke`ball with his weedle inside it. "Gotcha'. Looks like we've got a new friend Pichu" Pichu squealed and climbed up Doms shoulder to looked through the semi-clear red top of the pokeball, to see the weedle sleeping.

(Next post you're supposed to do a random number generator from 4-5 to see what level weedle is. You may know this, I just thought I'd remind you. smile )

(it was un-nescessry, but thanks anyway biggrin )
Dom pulled up his Poke`disc and read off its information. It was level 5, had Poison Sting, and Sting Shot. He nodded happily and shrunk the poke`ball and slid it onto his belt. He continued walking in the grass with Pichu climbing down his shirt and into his pocket. He rubbed Pichu on the head and it, kind of, purred, in a way, something like that.

Dom continued to walk through the tall grass, purposely not exiting. He decided one battle was enough for a patch of grass and he exited it and looked around. He ran up to a five foot ledge and began to climb it. He succeeded, only to see another five-foot ledge right in front of him. Once on the top of that one he saw a bunch of grass. He sighed and walked into it and realized Pichu wasn't on his shoulder. He looked into his pants pocket, not there. He looked down the ledge and saw Pichu. "Pichu, return" A red beam of light emanated from the Pokeball and drew Pichu in. "Come on out, pichu" Dom said and the little mouse was re-materialized onto the ground in front of him. Let's go Dom said as they entered another large pact of grass.

Dom was walking and almost to the Varidian Forest gates, when something smacked on the head. He looked around and didn't see anything He pulled out his Pokedisc and tried to find something to read. His Pokedisc went off and he looked up to see a Rattatta. "Geez Laweeze. These things don't give a guy a break, do they?" Dom looked down to Pichu and Pichu looked up at him. "You know what to do" The Pichu nodded and waited for the Rattatta to attack. When it finally did, Pichu dodged it and tackled it in the side. It slid a little while but the Rattatta regained its traction. Pichu taunted it with its tail whip attack and the Rattatta attacked at full speed. Pichu ran up to a tree and waited on Rattatta. Pichu almost dodged, he got nicked in the side by the tackle attack, but the Rattatta still smacked its head on the tree. Pichu tackled it and awaited for Dom’s orders.

Dom walked up to the Rattatta and tapped it on the fore head with an enlarged pokeball, and it was sucked in. Dom dropped the Pokeball and waited to see if it would catch or not. It rolled three times and almost broke out, but the pokeball made a dinging sound and Dom picked up the Pokeball. "Yes, we caught Rattatta" Pichu jumped for joy and climbed up Dom’s arm to look inside the thing. The Rattatta was sound asleep in the pokeball, getting some rest. Dom walked out of the grass and onto normal, lawn-cut grass and walked into the gates to rest. He let all three of his pokemon out and they all did their own little thing. Weedle climbed onto the plants to eat, while Rattatta and Pichu practiced dodging together.

After a little while he returned all but Pichu to their Pokeballs and shrunk them. He snapped them onto his belt and sighed when Pichu climbed his pant leg and squeezed into his pocket. Dom looked at the Varidian Forest exit and started walking towards it. A Woman stopped him and handed him a mini magnet. "For the Pichu" She said and smiled, then walked off. Dom shrugged and handed it to Pichu who seemed to enjoy playing with the cylindrical object.

Kisa and Rio walked into the dense forest pushing aside big leaves and branches until they found a proper path. Rio was on high alert ready for another fight. His fur sparked and his eyes looked back and forth. Kisa thought it was a great sign of what he would be like when he grew up. Up ahead the leaves shook around and Rio glared straight at the spot. A wild weedle made its way out glancing in their direction. It didn't seem too concerned but noticed Rio's attitude and prepared for battle.

"Alright Rio! Let's do this! Just be careful that it doesn't sting you!" Rio nodded and took a step closer to the weedle then charged full speed. The weedle used string shot and hit Rio's feet. Rio fell forward tangled in the sticky mess but managed to free himself after some struggling. The weedle started to use string shot again but Rio had learned his lesson. He dodged it and charged at the weedle tackling it from below so he wouldn't touch the stinger on its head. The weedle was thrown into the air and came down hard.
