Character's Name: Blujay Thene Age: unknown Appearance: A Grecian sphinx, bold blue eyes, long curly brown hair. She has a Mediterranean complexion, and her arms from the elbows are lion paws. Her lower half is the back half of a lioness, and a pair of tealy-blue bird wings rest on her back. She is often wearing what looks like modified turtleneck sweaters, with a long collar going up the neck, sleeves short to only cover the human forearms and the back open for her wings. Her face seems a bit longer than a human face and her ears look halfway between human and lion ears. Skills/Abilities: She can knit like crazy and makes her own woolen yarn from her charmed pet sheep, can fly, is adept at shrinking things and casting basic household magic, IE can manipulate elements to a basic degree, cause objects to move with no prompting, telling riddles. Fluent in Latin and Greek but never acknowledges it or speaks either around other people
Personality: Kooky is a good word for her. She really overestimates people when she first meets them. Usually, she's quite content to just sit there and knit things, although by no means is she antisocial or dislike conversations. She loves her sheep, that she not only somehow magicked into longevity, but she shrunk it too. Somehow when shaved the wool is the amount that a normally sized sheep would give off. She's rather nonplussed by shows of aggression, and her patience and refusal to fight shocks many of her kind. History: Travelling from Greece where she was born, she got herself a ram for a pet and set about exploring. Other sphinxes were shocked, and many tried to fight her through the ages for the right of being her master or mistress, but every time she would never fight and always left before it came to blows. In Egypt with that brand of sphinxes, they say she fell in love, got in a fight, and accidentally killed both her rival and the one she fell in love with. Reports are quite inconsistent though, and when asked she denies it and changes topics. Not much more is known about her past, even by her because she tends to lose memories of when she was near a battle or war. Goals: To make a thneed. to stop seeing flashes of futures long in the making, often from childrens books, to learn how to shapeshift. Weapons (if applies): Knitting needles, pet ram. When going by Keiji Masa, he is awkward and clumsy, and his body language shows it. He doesn't stand up straight and always seems nervous. The thieves killed the rest of the villagers. She was able to survive only due to the fact she was down by the beach looking for seashells. Looks like an old, 16th century ship, although on the inside it's huge and quite modern.The deeper you go into the ship, the more bone you will see. As time goes on the bone part expands, although it grows so subtly no one notices it until they've been around a few decades. She can represent herself anywhere someone takes one of her bones as either a ghostly deer, with seaweed hanging off her a bit, or a woman with no discernible features except dark hair and dark eyes, often dripping wet and nearly transparent. Skills/Abilities: She can sail on any water. She is a ship and thinks of Pete as a brother. Due to the disproportionally large interior, she can hide many weapons like cannons and much worse. Because she IS the ship she can do anything with the ship, such as lock people in certain rooms, or keep sections closed off to certain people. People who become part of her crew tend to live highly unnaturally long unless they are killed, even creatures with inhumanly long life spans. Personality: Varies depending on many factors. Who is nearby when she wishes to communicate, what is the situation, what should someone be doing, what does she know. And she knows all that goes on inside her. She tends not to communicate directly with her crew, trusting them to know what she wants or having the captain tell them for her. Sometimes, though, she will write notes for people. Appearance:He wears the same style bandanna as his captain, in the same way as his captain does, mainly to piss off his captain. He looks, actually, a lot like a typical bugbear. Dark hair, pale skin, he can shift between a mostly bear form and a human form. He has hollow, blank, round eyes and a long/largish nose, as well as at least 4-inch long claws when need be. He's not so tall but sturdy-built and has a bit of a paunch from nicking sweets from the galley all the time. He's not unattractive, but he's not incredibly handsome either, and with fangs and his demented grin he doesn't have a lot of success with normal ladies. Skills/Abilities:He can find anyone, anywhere, anytime. In fact, he can find anything. He has to think about it a bit sometimes, but he'll know where to go to find it. He can also do a bit of shadow magic, like popping out of shadows and using shadows as weapons or to defend himself. Personality:He's the type that you could hit with a shovel and get back the response of: "What were you trying to do?" before he rips you to shreds. He's... got a dark sense of humor and a good way to describe him is demented. He's an easygoing chap, though, and lazy to boot. When arsed to do something he'll do it and he'll do it WELL. He likes the ship's cook, Medley, a pretty gorgon girl. He's gleeful when fighting, and is always the first one on deck when trouble's afoot. History:After meeting with Pete in the early 14th century and becoming one of the infamously long-lived crew of the Doe's Ghost he's sorta stuck around as navigator, and often first mate. Words cannot describe all the adventures he has had as part of the crew, but one can say there aren't many who can stand through listening to them.
