Behavior: A silent and serious person, he commands utmost discipline and respect. If not, then expect severe repercussions from not following orders.
Personality: A cold and calculating man who hides behind his codename, Ky. Always planning way ahead of his opponents just like a skilled chess master, he is considered by many to be one of the greatest strategic minds of the century. Just like a chess master though, he treats everyone under him as pawns in his game and the closest he has come to actually taking a liking to his subordinates would be slight hesitation in sending that subordinate on a dangerous mission. Never once kidding around, Ky is always all business which is why he is best fit to lead the organization made up of a stray bunch of powerful, though very unorganized (in his eyes) ninja, called the Akatsuki.

→ Mach Storm - a variation of the Shadow Shuriken technique that uses Ky's custom kunai instead of large shurikens.

→ Puppet Technique - attaches chakra strings onto an object's body, allowing the user to gain control over its movement.
→ Manipulating Attack Blades - attaches chakra stings onto one's kunai in order to direct them at an intended target. Commonly used in tandem with Ky's kunai attacks.

→ Flying Swallow - using chakra, the user extends the reach of his weapon. The target, misjudging the length of the weapon, would be unaware of this until it's already too late or until the attack has hit.
→ Mind-Body Disturbance Technique - causes a spirit of confusion to overcome the target, making him attack his allies without him knowing it. It can also be used to just stop a target from moving.

→ Brainwashing Investigation Technique - allows the user to block memories of himself from the minds of his spies so they wouldn't raise suspicion as they gather information without knowing why until the moment the technique is deactivated.

→ Hidden Mist Technique - creates a mist from the user's chakra. While a Byakugan can see through it, this technique is extremely effective against Sharingan users.

→ Waterfall Basin Technique - summons a large amount of water from the ground to form a wave and essentially fill flood an entire area with water.
→ Water Release: Gunshot - the user gathers a large amount of water and shoots it as multiple projectiles with high armor penetration comparable to that of a bullet fired from a powerful gun.

→ Water Release: Water Dragon Bullet - the user summons a powerful water dragon to assist in battle, but requires the user to do a total of forty-four hand seals and be in the presence of a large body of water. In Ky's case however, after studying the techniques of Tobirama Senju, is able to summon the creature without exactly adhering to those requirements in the sense that he can summon the dragon, like Tobirama Senju, with only one hand seal, but unlike Senju, he still needs to be near a large body of water to do so.
→ Water Release: Water Encampment Wall - creates a wall of water around the user that can be used as a shield from projectiles. This is also one of the techniques that Ky was able to master from studying Tobirama Senju's techniques.

Genjutsu
→ Tyrant's Calling - Allows the user to create a user's own giant image above the skies of a village or country to send a message. This is Ky's second personal favorite.
→ Genjutsu Binding - the user binds the target in a genjutsu, thus rendering them incapable of moving while giving the user the opportunity to deliver a finishing strike.
→ Genjutsu Shiranui - the user creates six copies that detonate simultaneously.
→ Soulbane - a powerful genjutsu that makes those affected by it to turn on their allies, thinking that they are the enemy. This is Ky's third personal favorite.
→ Sly Mind Affect - a genjutsu that causes targets to walk around in circles, thinking that they are going in the right direction when, in fact, they aren't.
→ Tyrant Crash - a variation of Sakura Haruno's technique, but with Ky slamming a gigantic fist onto them.
→ Mind-controlling Dojutsu - a technique obtained by Ky after thoroughly studying Shisui Uchiha's recorded techniques book and intensely training for it and is Ky's personal favorite. It allows the user to control the target without them realizing that they are being controlled. While not at Sisui Uchiha's level, since Ky does not possess a Sharingan, it is still a powerful tool he loves to use over and over again.
