I've entered myself in a few photo contest (2 are of me, and 1 is my mom's cat lol).
It's just for fun, there's not a major prize involved. The website www.ibeatyou.com is filled with different contests. You earn points for voting, commenting, rating, and entering/hosting contests. Like I said, it's a just a fun place with friendly competition.
