"We wanted to call it the Poop Pile but Zeus doesn't have much of a sense of humor," Ellende said matter-of-factly. Thunder rumbled in the distance, but she ignored it. "Glad you like it."

He climbed up pretty easily.

As he was speaking he looks over and sees on the ground a giant scorpion that was watching them.
It snaps his claws at them even though they were out of reach.

He yells at his stupidity to not get a weapon.

"Well I guess it'll be one on one," Ellende said, preparing to slide off the boulder.
((Is Jax going to get a weapon now or not until later? Ooh, Ellende can get hurt and Jax can kill the monster! That would be dramatic.))

"I will be," Ellende said as she slid off the boulder, her face deathly pale. She turned and got ready to charge the scorpion. It clicked its claws angrily in her direction.
