Sylvia tapped her foot impatiently on the stone floor of the manor. Chewing on the arm of her glasses absentmindedly, she cursed under her breath at Mei's sudden need for one of Alain's baubles. Her boss had gotten much too free lately, acquiring an elephant, of all animals! She would have to reign in his spending if he was ever going to have anything to retire on. His love of the precious Haltia had driven him to devotion of their cause. And here she was, trapped inside. An accountant with undeniable skill and, from what she understood, a considerable sex appeal waiting to greet and serve a guest who was to arrive.
While she didn't know as much about the Haltia as the others, she did have her own kinship with the special little dolls. Although she had no need to reveal herself before now, a little bit of her swelled with pride at the thought of meeting a Haltia owner. Maybe, finally, she could see for herself what this was about, instead of just hearing from Alain.

Blast that grey squirrel and steering her in the wrong direction that made her walk aimlessly for a good thirty minutes! So what if he had a thing against crows and owls and other birds of prey? That didn’t mean he had to be so blasted impolite! Damn set off! Though, she had to admit, the air in this forest was simply delicious and nature was so abundant! Oh, the pretty little foxes and the cute, cute coons running around~ She even had the most interesting conversation with a butterfly (whoever made the term “attention span of a butterfly” needs to be shot!) about all sorts of flora she had never even heard of and the effects they had on humans and birds. In fact, the butterfly sat on her shoulder as she walked along until she saw the tip top rooftop of the manor come into view. She bid the butterfly (whom she came to know as Heskst) a cheerful farewell as she approached the manor. She hadn’t called Bugsy yet and told him what she got herself into, and she knew she was gonna pay for that later. Her mind was wrapped up in the capsule and the wooden doll she was still carrying around since she met Mei.
OH! The jealous eyes of those art buyers when she went back into the museum! Some even had the gall to come up to her and ask how much she was willing to sell. The NERVE! They should’ve known that if they were so greedy for it, she was going to be equally as, if not MORE, greedy to keep it for herself! And didn’t they KNOW that fretting over something just increased the value of the object in question to the person they wanted to buy it from? Foolish, greedy art dogs! But still, she couldn’t help but to beam in pride the more attention she received for it. For all of its nakedness, they too saw this mythical charm in the doll, and it was ALL HERS! MWAHAHA---kaff! Kaff!
Let’s focus, Rufina…
She gawked with wide, wide eyes when she got close enough to take in the whole of the mansion. “Beautiful” didn’t serve this place justice, in fact, was there even a word in EXISTENSE to describe the magnificent architecture of this place? Maybe she could make one… Supabeawonrificalaciousness! Hmm… She was going to have to work on that. Still, her wide smile of “gimmegimmegimme” spread so far on her face it looked as though it could stretch to her earlobes. There was that burning sensation again, in her fingertips, the need to reach out and touch and not give back. Hmm.. She never stole a whole BUILDING before… Could she do it? Ack! No, no, no! Focus! She gave herself a minor shake of the head to clear her mind of those thieving thoughts. Oh, bad habits are so hard to break… “I’m here for the key, that’s all!” She told herself to keep her mind focused as she slowly got closer to the mansion’s doors. “I wanna crack the capsule open, see what’s inside and hoard it away like the little crow I am! Stupid lock… Stupid lock and your… enchantment.” That’s right, even though Mei said it could only be opened with a certain key didn’t mean Mei didn’t say she couldn’t TRY to open it without it! No Neanderthal banging against rocks or walls (though her frustration made her want to after a while), she was careful, for she wasn’t sure how delicate the lock really was. Sniffing, fiddling, and experimentation with a hundred (exact amount) different lock picks made her come to the conclusion that it was enchanted. And without Bugsy, she didn’t know what kind of enchantment. And even THEN it wasn’t in stone whether or not Bugsy could crack it open! You needed a Symbologist for that…
Straightening her big-enough-to-be-a-dress-sweater-so-she-wore-it-like-that-anyway DRESS, she wrapped her knuckles on the door eagerly. “Hello~” She said in a sing-song voice, “Mei told me to swing by so I’m he-re~!”

Clacking across the floor, Sylvia ran her fingers through her bangs, checking to see if they were still in order and her hair was still smooth. With a quick movement to push her glasses back up on her face, she opened the heavy door as smoothly as she could. Hearing the sing-song voice from behind it, Sylvia smiled. A perky little thing, isn't she? "Welcome to the Manor." As the door opened all the way, she gave the girl her winning smile, gesturing for her to come inside. "Please, do come in. I am Sylvia, and I will be your guide today."

Rufina grinned at pretty Sylvia and her pretty smile. “And I am Rufina! Pleased to meet you!” She said, stepping inside of the manor. Wo-wo-WOAH! Look at that architecture! Look at those paintings! Look at that hand-crafted wood! Her neck kept snapping here and there so hard, at some instances it would look as if she was breaking her own neck. Plus side to owl genes is that your neck could do such things without causing damage to yourself~ “Ooo! So pretty in here! Do you live here? Mei lives here, don’t she? She has to since she’s the maid and all. At least I think that’s what she said… I wonder how she’s doing..?” Rufina had a bad habit of rambling whenever she was excited or nervous (though excitement ran through her entire little body). It was more so excitement of what was INSIDE the manor that made her lips become so loose.
Twirling around, she grinned at Sylvia. “You’re my guide, yes? Please show me around!” Hopefully directly to the place she was to get this key or she may become an unconscious klepto… Oh be still her burning fingers.

"No, I don't live here. This is just my place of work. I'm not sure of Mei lives here or not. But if she told you she does, then that must be our answer, don't you think?" Guiding her a little through the house towards the room she planned to work in, she talked to the girl, watching her reactions. "Mei herself works for Master Alain, as I do. Although she cleans the house and tends to his errands, as she is doing now. She's perfectly fine, and will probably be back a little later on."
Turning the first corner, she glanced back at Rufina again. "Well, there's only one place that you need to worry about today. I am your guide in a different way. You've got a small journey to take today. And that will be where I show you around. Is there anything I can get you beforehand, though? A drink, something to eat?"
