I certainly hope there's one... but it's only 5 days til Valentine's and there has been no news of an event =(
Either way, we should try for a 2 year anniversary bonanza in the GCD before we get moved. I still have the old "if you give a GCD a gift" picture!

Okay, so we have some options for upcoming events from what I think.
First, the prom events seem to be getting a lot of attention so I'm pretty confident they'll sponsor another one this year.
The prom event is nice, but it distracts from the forums a little more simply because it's an action event and not based in the forums.
There is the summer event though, which I understand is a ways away, but it might be our best bet to get some new blood in here!
The event usually occurs a couple of weeks prior to school starting back up so our college kids will hopefully have time to haunt the forums with the rest of us.
I've been pretty busy lately so events are the only thing that pull me to the website at the moment.
I know these are a couple of months away and we can host some mini gift giving events and threads until then for certain holidays (green gifts on st. pattys, easter, dresses or flowers leading up to the prom event, etc.)...
I don't know though, I'm just throwing ideas out there.
