You’ve strived to get into the Soul Academy to become a shinigami. Your time has finally arrived when the Academy announces that a test is to be made for those who wish to become a shinigami. You decide to take the test and see if you’re proficient enough to be accepted. Three weeks after taking the test of physical stamina, offense and defense skills, agility, and intelligence you receive rewarding news; you’ve been one out of thirty souls that have been selected to attend the academy.

There, you face many challenges you’ve never thought existed. Friends and enemies are made while you and your classmates battle and learn to be the best you can be.

Name: Yuki Mizorou

Zanpakto name: Yukihyou

Zanpakto bio (ie. spirit, shikai form, etc…): It's blade is about five inches taller than Yuki, but it's sheith is smaller than the blade. The shieth holds a magic to it that shrinks Yukihyou's blade to about half of it's normall size.The hilt is black and grey and the shieth is black. Yuki wears it on her back instead of at her side. Yukihyou is attached to Yuki by a black sash. the guard has the face of a snow leopard with a snowflake behind its head. Shikai is "Claw your enemies" and her zanpakto turns into a white urumi when she says Shiroi Yukihyou and turns black when she says Kuroi Yukihyou. It's more powerful when it's black. The spirit is that of a dark grey snowleopard. She has a distinct mark on her chest of a black snowflake. Her world is in a mountainous forest packed with rocks and trees. It's dark most of the time. She has a chain wrapped around her neck like a collar, but also is like a leash because the chain is as long as her and dangles from her neck most of the time.

Current soul reaper bio: Yuki's parents died when she was a baby. Her grandmother took care of her in Hokutan until Yuki was about five. She witnessed her grandmother get murdered by a hollow that looked like a scorpion and a snake. Its mas was tall and slim looking with crimson eyes and slits for nostrils. The hollow was about to attack and devour her when it suddenly dissappeared. Yuki hid as two soul reapers appeared and then swore because they didn't kill it. She then lived on the perilous streets of Hokutan. She was starved and thirsty. After being in the streets for about a year, Yuki had a dream. She was in a mountainous forest and a voice was calling to her. She followed it. She saw yellow and orange eyes looking at her from a tree. They were her eyes, so she thought. the voice told her to go into the mountains. The next day, Yuki did as the mysterious voice in her dream told her to do. THe week long journey brought her to a river that had an abundancy of fish and had fruit trees growing on its bank. When Yuki turned six, she found out that the voice was her zanpakto. She called out her name when she found out about her inner world. Yukihyou appeared and smiled as she formed into a katana that was longer than Yuki's body. WHen She opened her eyes, she had a katana laying on her lap. Yukihyou taught Yuki some swordsmanship skills until she was seven. Yuki found out about Shikai and mastered the calling of it. Then, she went back to Hokutan in search for others like her. She found a group of kids that had spiritual pressure like hers. They taught her the bit of kido they knew and she taught them swordsmanship. they all vowed to become soul reapers. When Yuki was 11 her home was destroyed by the same hollow who ate her grandmother. It consumed her new family and ran away. In rage, Yuki ran after it and realized she was running faster than she normally did. She caught up with the hollow and stabbed it. They engaged in battle. SHe was severely injured, but managed to cut the hollows mask from its left forhead area diaginally down to the right chin area. It then dissappeared. She woke up at the home of Kukaku Shiba. Kukaku persuades Yuki into going to the soul academy so she can become strong enough to kill the hollow she faught that night. Yuki followed Kukaku's advice and found herself taking strange tests. About three weeks after the test, Yuki finds out that she's been accepted into the Soul Academy.
she's very smart (receiving the highest score rank out of the three hundred souls who took the test), agile, quick learning, shy and quiet at times, but can react quickly to any situation.

Yuki stood by the gate that separated the Rukongai from the Seretei. The doors weren't going to be open for another two hours. It was still early morning, the sun barely peeking through the horizon. She was tired of waiting, but she knew there was no point in being impatient. She had left Kukaku's place before she woke up. Yuki couldn't say good bye to her. She hated good byes because whenever she would say those words, something bad would happen. She sighed and sat down, meditating her thoughts. People were still asleep. After a few minutes Yuki felt some spiritual pressure a ways off. She scooted towards an empty barrel and held her legs to her chest with her right arm and pulled her zanpakto's hilt down so it wouldn't be seen. She hid pretty well when she wanted to.

Yuki started to meditate in the strange position she was in. She entered a world with mountains and trees. It was dark... it was a monotone color.. grey. She wondered through the mountainous forest. She was silent and agile as she journeyed in the world. She came upon a small stream. Yuki stopped and climbed a tree that had low branches.
"Nice of you to visit, Yuki." A voice purred at her.
Yuki looked at her surroundings as she replied, "It's been a while."
Yuki and Yukihyou started talking and Yukihyou asked if Yuki was really wanting to be a soul reaper. With her past and nervousness about meeting new people worried Yukihyou, but she knew Yuki was strong.

"You've done well in your training i've given you Yuki. Now, it's time you learn from others more experienced than you. Do all you can to be the best my little one... and don't be afraid to make a friend or two. You may need them when you least expect it..." The voice purred cunningly as the slim figure of Yukihyou jumped off of her branch and onto another and then another. She dissappeared and Yuki opened her eyes. THe sun had finally come up a bit. "But... whenever I make a friend... they die..."

Yuki stood up. She looked around and looked at the barrel and furrowed her brows. "I hope I grow when I'm here. I am soo short... I'm just a little taller than the barrel." She stopped talking to herself as she felt someone's spiritual pressure coming towards her.

Yuki was hidden by the barrels. she rolled her eyes *I know I'm short, but not that short.. ugh*
a voice purred, "Stay calm Yuki. Your time will come when you grow."
"Umm.. Hi. Are you a new arrival at the Academy too?" She walked out of her area and looked up at the girl nervously.

Yuki nodded, "Yeah... So how old are you? The hell butterfly I received said that the ages ranged from 14 to 15 with an exception of a 12 year old."
Yukihyou purred, "You're conversation starters need worked on young one."
Yuki growled at her *It's not my fault... you know how unsocial I am because of what's happened to me*

Yuki stood there awkwardly. She didn't want anyone to know that she was the one who was 12. She decided to lie, but before she could, she felt some spiritual pressure coming towards the gate. "Someone's coming."
