This is an explanation of runeology in this RP, anything that needs to be explained more please PM either myself or Zejx.

Runeology is the type of power that originated on the planet of Earth.

The usage of runes is available to any race/being that can understand it.

One who is proficient in the usage of runes is called a runeist (however its spelled), but anyone may use runes that has any knowledge of how to use them.

Only those born on Earth before E.I. have natural runes.

Natural Runeists are born with a primary rune. The appearance of these runes vary greatly from race to race and from person to person.

People not born with a Natural rune must have a primary rune inscribed on them physically or spiritually to gain the benefit of having a primary rune.

Persons without natural runes must use an elixir made on the planet earth to use complicated runes and arrays without extended rest.

This elixir can only be made on the planet earth because of the specific requirements for each step of the creation process and the ingredients required, that being said, since the E.I. the elixir is in rare supply and research is being done to try and replicate the creation of it in other places but no success has been achieved.

The elixir can also be used to boost the effect of runes, if used to much may cause a runic overload, which varies between people. So caution must be used when using it.

Runes vary drastically from one and other depending on their usage and combination with other runes, for example, a fire rune combined with a wind rune may be used as a blowtorch, heater, propulsion device, etc.

Many runes can only do one or two things but other runes can do much much more, a good version of this would be the arctic rune which manipulates ice and cold to a greater extent than an ice rune or a cold rune would.

Runes do not need to be drawn on a surface but may be traced in the air for the desired effect. Some runes may let people conjure images of runes which still counts as the rune existing. Very skilled Runists can conjure entire arrays out of thin air.

Runes are useful for just about anything and new runes are being discovered and old ones are being researched for new ways of using them all the time.

An Array is when you combine more than a couple runes together to produce another effect. Usually within a geometric shape.

Arrays are extremely potent and usually the more points you have in an array the more runes you can put into them therefore it becomes more powerful.

Arrays always have to be geometric shapes, Circle arrays are forbidden to 99% of all runists as they have no limits to the amount of runes that may be used in them.

100% of all Human technology use Runes as the basis.
