Biography Before Death:
James was a very shy person with most people, but others seemed to not make him so shy. when he was 15 and a half he discovered that the people he was shy with were consumed by hollows, but he couldn't see their true identity untill then. his last memory of being alive was seeing his whole family attacked and murdered by three different hollow. after that, he was in the rukon district.
Biography After Death:
after being in the rukon district for 12 years, he finally found a way to controll his rietsu. he first heard about it when a girl and her friend, which Jay met one time, renji, found out that they could use their powers. he finally got into the soul reaper academy and trained as long and hard as he phisically and mentally could. once he graduated, he was placed in the [10th] squad of the 13 protection squads.

The bio is quite nice and logical although a bit short. All You need is a shikai and bankai now and but You can start role playing any time
