Phobos lay in the sun, letting the warm rays pass through his semi-translucent body. Sighing, he was grateful for the silence. Sekani and Kallisto were off fighting somewhere, he assumed. Yuki was playing with that little gem that had hatched not too long ago. He honestly didn't care where Maha and Shelby were. They were old enough to take care of themselves, so why should he care? Now that they were here though, perhaps he could pawn Sekani and Kallisto off on them more often. He really didn't care for the little ones; he didn't really care for anyone being around him.
He really was grateful for the peace and quiet. Hopefully, he could maybe catch a nap while he was at it. He laid his head down on his paws, curling his silver wings up to cover his head and block out most of the sunlight.

Kuroushin was annoyed. Very annoyed. Being adopted into a huge family of mostly crazy and vastly varied goody-two-shoe gems was not fun. Perhaps insulting those crazy gems was fun, but they do get plain annoying, specially the newest arrival who's a bright obnoxious gold color. Kurou by nature was a loner, and didn't take to big families well. There was only one other gem in his new 'family' he actually tolerated, and the only reason was that she was the only one who is normally not with the rest of the band. Getting away from the rest was all he could do to find some quiet. However, upon treading the fields, he found a semi-translucent gem, sleeping under a tree, and his senses twitched. "Ghost gems need sleep? Huh." He stated bluntly, staring in a manner at Phobos that obviously said Kurou thought he was above the ghost.

Phobos lazily opened one eye to see who was speaking. Sighing, he wondered to himself if he would ever find peace again. His life had been so quiet before his 'family' had grown. Now he couldn't even find quiet where no one had been. Did he wear a neon sign that only he couldn't see? Tucking his wings to his back, he sat up and looked down his nose at Kurou, looking very much a regal prince. Two could play at the 'holier-than-thou' game, and Phobos had had a long time to practice it. "All the better to haunt your dreams," he said a little nastily.

Kuroushin too, was well gamed in pride and looking down upon people. He was not a small gem, and since he was but a youngling he had been looking upon people as though they were lower than himself, and to him, they were. "How about living a nightmare then?" Kurou retorted in the same nasty tone, his expression of slight boredom and superiority never faltering. "Or does the ghost boy haunt pretty pink flowers and rainbow filled dreams?"

Phobos sneered. "Only to wilt the flowers and rain terror upon the dreamer," he scoffed. Sighing, the ghost gem brought his paw up to look at it as if there was something nasty on it. There certainly was something nasty here, though it wasn't on Phobos's paws. "Didn't anyone ever tell you to respect your elders, child?" He sounded bored, and didn't even look at Kuroushin as he spoke.
