Religion isn't just a myth. No religion is. From the ancient greeks, presians, and chinese to modern day Christians, Muslims and Hindus, all Gods worshipped are real. But what happens when people stop believing in them, worshipping them? They wait. They wait for new civilizations, cultures, or even individuals to come back to them; to recoginize and revive them. The Olympians of the greek pantheon are tired of waiting. They have decided nobody would ever come back to them. They were washed out, gone. There were little polytheistic practices anymore, montheism (christans and catholics, mainly) are all the rage. As such, they had reached a unanimous decision: to join the humans and live out the rest of their lives like humans, to die at an older age. To make room for new religions. It was completely unprecidented. Some will generously dissipate their powers, give them to others and disappear, some will change genders, some will fit right in and others will have troubles adjusting. ⊰Story⊱

For the TL;DR people:
The gods of the ancient greek pantheon, the Olympians, have grown tired of waiting to be worshipped, and so stepped down from the heavens to live among the people. You will play as one of these Gods and decide that they are either going to fit in, or flounder and be discovered. If you choose not to be a God, you may play as a human, who has befriended a God or Goddess. THIS DOES NOT MEAN the you automatically know what they are, and will only find out if they reveal it to you or through some SIGNIFIGANT evidence that they aren't human. ⊰Story⊱

 Rules:
I: Follow the gaia ToS and guild rules.
II: I am the ULTIMATE SUPREME being. My word is law.
III: Please be semi-lit. That means decent grammar, spelling, and post size. Issues with spelling? Spell check and a dictionary. 3-5 sentence minimum. If your post is unclear you may be asked to clarify it.
IV: PM all profiles to me, with a siren.
V: No godmoding. (Duh.) No cybering. (See rule 1)
VI: Be some-what active, please. If you cannot post for a long time, let me know, and same goes for if you quit the rp, let me know. Thanks.
VII: If playing a God or Goddess, use the greek name, not roman. (IE: Aphrodite, not venus, Ares, not Mars, Demeter, not Ceres, Zeus, not Jupiter/Jove)
VIII: Gods shall title their PMs "I am tired." Humans will title theirs "You're a what?!" All will include what guild this is from, because I now have it running in three.

The Pantheon  I was a member of the Pantheon once: Artemis But the humans know me as: Alice Addler Feel free to call me: Ally, Al I used to be the God(dess) of: Virgins, hunting, and the moon But here on earth I have a different job: Pet-store janitor Humans tend to think I am: 21 years old So far: Alice came down from Olympus six weeks ago, not the first to come down but certainly not the last. She had just been hired as a janitor at the local pet-store, and owns a small apartment with a fawn, hawk, falcon, and two kittens. People like to say I am: Hot-headed, stubborn, violent, and passionate. Oops! Maybe they'll listen better down there. I found my way to what they call a "comic shop" and got a job. It's quite nice, I like the art. I just want the humans to remember who we are. The Humans  My name is: Heather McAddams But feel free to call me: my name. I earn a living by: mooching off my friends and family I am: 19 years old So far: Heather grew up in an upper middle class family, and was quite spoiled. She was also extremely gifted in the knowledge department, but once she hit high school it dropped considerably. Sure, she got good grades, but she stopped learning because to her, fun was the priority. She had many smart friends whom she would copy homework from, and such, and then she had her other friends: the party ones who got her into drinking and smoking, but thankfully she stopped smoking. Now she simply parties with her friends and mooches off of everyone who has money, then shops. People like to say I am: care-free, outgoing, ditzy, and frustrating, although she can be very smart at times. I ALWAYS have these on me: her purse, complete with wallet, car keys, a fake I.D. and FABULOUS shoes. Oops! I think I forgot something!: Oh, wait, never mind no I didn’t!
