In the chaos that is life, there is only one constant: Death. Death claims everything, Death haunts life like a wave of locusts, feeding off the living, constantly draining vitality, until the day comes, when all life is depleted... and death becomes the one truth.
The year is 2034, and the day draws near when the last life is finally snuffed out. The war between Humans and Cyphers raged on and on, until neither side could stand to fight anymore.
The technological master of the humans, and the shapeshifting powers of the Cyphers invoked a cataclysm that nearly destroyed both race. When the robotic Earthrenders, created by the Humans, rebelled, humanity was almost wiped out of the face of the earth.
War bled the world dry, and soon, it could no longer sustain itself.
For fifty years, the world was dark, silent, and dead. The once lush plains were now barren and dry, forests were burned and slashed, oceans polluted and drained, and all life seemed to fade away.
But life is stubborn, and somehow, despite the odds, all the races survived the disaster. Humans, Cyphers, and even Earthrenders clung to life, and slowly but surely, they are beginning to rebuild.

An innocent boy, yet driven by hate. Will he have his vengance? Or be consumed by it?
Name: Ark Wilder Age: 18 Gender: Male Race: Human Class: Vanguard Party: Party Leader Picture: Bio: Ark grew up with a mixed life. His father left to go fight the Cyphers long ago, and never came back. Ark's mother died giving birth to his sister, Ivy. This basically left Ark to take care of his younger sister. Alone.
However, Ark has always has this strange flame mark on his arm. His peers claim he's made a pact with the devil, but it is entirely not true. Ark has taught himself swordplay because his sister, Ivy, is fragile, and is a very tempting target for bullies.
Ark is an impatient man with little to no regards for rules or figures of authority. He's even been caught placing cherry bombs in the Overseer's office. However, he can't just sit back and ignore someone when they're suffering. Deep down, Ark is a nice guy, loyal friend, and willing to help out anyone whenever and wherever he can.
No one, not even Ark himself, is vaguely aware of the conspiracy at work concerning him. The mark on his arm will prove to leave a mark on the world soon...Theme Song: Citizen/Solider- 3 doors down"Should we give him a last name? Do dogs even HAVE last names? Dammit! I don't know!"Name: Pooch Age: 8 (Well... He was found eight years ago.) Gender: Male Race: Earthrender Class: Warrior Party: Ark Picture: Bio: Pooch was a Dog that Ark and Ivy found on the streets of the settlement. But it had been converted into an Earthrender. It also had it's memory wiped clean. Ark and Ivy took it in, repaired it, and it now serves as a friend and guardian to the siblings."A girl who hides true power behind the veil of timidness..." Name: Ivy Wilder Age: 16 Gender: Female Race: Human Class: Infiltrator Party: Ark Picture: Bio: Ivy is Ark's younger sister, and loves him dearly. Although she often gets annoyed by his overprotectiveness, she knows that she cannot fight directly. She learned to use a bow, and is a deadly shot when focused. Her beauty is matched by her skill, yet her timid and pacifict attitude always shakes her aim, and is a tempting target for bullies. Ivy also possessed White Magic, and often is there to heal Ark whenever he gets into a particularly nasty brawl.
Theme Song: Mot Fjerme Land- Leaves EyesName: Corbin Stewart Age: 17 Gender: male Race: human Class: warrior Party: Ark's party picture: Bio: Corbin grew up in the same place that his friend Ark has but their friendship didnt start until later... Corbin was a bright kid, full of life, joy, humor, and chock full of creating mayhem. His parents were always very strict on the boy. Telling Corbin how dangerous the world is and what to do and when to do it. Quite frankly the strict commands were just words, and he would always sneak out late at night to plant pranks on the president of the group. This is where he met Ark. With a sack full of paint and flour he was just about to find the perfect victim...the overseer. Suddenly, he ran into Ark, who had a bag full of cherry bombs and they became friends ever since. Corbin was always determined and the world has never stopped him from being what he always wanted to be. A warrior. If he wanted to Corbin could have also been an engineer, with his genius IQ, but he always said he was made to be apart of the action and plus he loved swords to dearly. Maybe some day he can become an engineer and a warrior. But thats impossible. Isnt it? He keeps with him a collection of Japanese swords, two on each side of his belt and one in each boot. He is a skillful opponent. His swords include: Tachi, Katana, Wakizashi, and a tanto. And the two in his boot: Hamidashi. He makes them himself, using his his basement as a blacksmith shop. Gaia name: whisper2blue_noteBUTCH'S PARTY:
"I fight because I can. Not just because I want to. It's just who I am." Name: Bryan, "Butch," Greenstein Age: 19 Gender: male Race: Human Class: Warrior Party: Party Leader Picture: http://i114.photobucket.com/albums/n254/mapleflower/Anime/Punk.jpg[/img]]Butch Bio: Bryan Greenstein was born about the same time as Ark. His dad, like Ark's had not been a part of his life. But his mom was always home, and always beats on him, for reasons she wouldn't explain. Butch was so scared and confused, but as the beatings continued for years and years, Butch was finally fed up, and fought back. Beating his mother down so badly, she almost died. The Overseer was able to stop Bryan from actually killing her, and he took Bryan under his own custody. Bryan hated his name after that event, since he decided to dispise both his parents. His mom for being a b***h, and his dad for abandoning him. He renamed himself to Butch, because he vowed that anyone who would get in his way would be Butchered to death. The Overseer knew Butch was blessed with a strong body, incredibly, almost inhumanly strong body actually, and told Butch that he would train him in hand-to-hand combat, fighting with his fists and utilizing Chi, or kinetic energy in his body, to fight. Unfortunatly, Butch had little intelligence, and therefore lacked a strong mind, and Chi was just beyond his reach. This frustrated Butch to the point where he thought he'd compensate by become so strong, Chi would come to him. This lack of a strong mind also meant that Butch's common sense and knowledge was lacking heavily, making him less than stellar at school. But Butch didn't care. He was more prone to fighting anyway. Gaia name: Chaotic Ghost
"] Name: Leahn Smith Age: 22 Gender: female Race: human Class: Guardian Party: Butch's party Picture: Bio: Leahn has an incredible sense of magic and skills. She is much like a tom boy and for years has been treated like a boy. Especially when she puts her hair up in her father's hat, many people kept recognizing her as a "sir" rather than "ma'am". Her short temper was wildly known in the party and many of the people would just avoid her, except her friends which consist only of boys anyways. Leahn is one of Butch's friend, and although she knows very little of him, she doesnt really care. She is a daredevil, always wanting to be in or in front of the action. In class, Leahn always questions the teacher, trying to start an argument when she believes the teacher is wrong. In combat, Leahn is strong and driven. If she had a choice she would have been a warrior, but her father insisted Leahn to become a Guardian for there was very little who knew the knowledge (at least little who would want too). She was born to follow in her father's footsteps. Her father was Charles Smith, a very acknowledged and respected Guardian who helped many others in the great battle between cyphers and humans, and ever since his passing from this world, Leahn has been called "Her father's prodigy." Gaia name: whisper2blue_noteFreelancers:**IMPORTANT** Freelancers are on their own, seperate from any party. If you apply for a Freelancer, you must have a MASTERY of understanding of this story. If this is your first time reading this, then you don't, so move on. If you want to, then you're welcome to try... but the screening process for Freelancers is VERY. VERY heavy. So shoot if you think you can. Name: "Libel" Age: 13 Gender: Female Race: (forced to be an)Earthrender Class: Infiltrator (she doesnt know this yet) Party: None at the moment Picture: Bio: Her name is a mystery. Her purpose is a bigger mystery. She was born into a loving human family. Their only choices were to run and hide from the evil of the world. Running from disaster made everything worse. And the result, everyone around the little girl disappeared: killed, murdered, or betrayed. The memories of her loved ones dying in front of her. She doesnt remember much about the destruction, all she remembers is the beauty that disappeared a long time ago, the beauty that were only seen in pictures and legends. Her memories before the age of 12 were lost in time. Did she repress it? Or was there another factor? Well, with only memories of the world before the darkness, she went in search of a utopia. There had to be one. An oasis of green and on her journey she was captured and blindfolded by a gang of feral earthrenders bound to kill her. But instead of death, they experimented on her.In order to pass this FORCED initiation. She didnt want to be apart of it, but the cruel gang changed her body, and placing a chip within her skull, she had to endure. What did this chip do? She was scared and next thing she knew, she awoke in a dark underground cave. This is where the story begins... Gaia name: whisper2blue_noteName: Nathan Blake Age: 20 Gender: male Race: Earthrender Class: Engineer Party: (none yet) Picture: Bio: "Seeing the world a new through the enemies eyes." He wanders the world, going rogue, leaving his earthrender buddies behind. ALthough he never really had any to begin with. For Nathan, friends in this dark world mean nothing. He never recieved anything good from people. period. It all started when he was born in the far west, the sun burning his newborn flesh. His mother was a treacherous human b***h who never gave any attention to poor Nathan. She should have, because as soon as Nathan grew a mind, and discovered his mother hated him, he returned the favor. It wasnt a surprise that she hated the kid. His father was the one who raped Nathan's mother and left, who knows where! He was born into a low lifeless class of humans and hated life. His childhood never existed. There was nothing to live for, until the attack of the cyphers came. At night, his group would take cover and wait it out, the shapshifting machines would kill and attack, a pure massacre. To everyone it was a nightmare, to Nathan it was a purpose. He wanted to be strong and invincible like the cyphers. He wanted that technology. So he packed his things, grabbed an axe for defense, and enough supplies that would take him to the earthrenders. He traveled east, determined through selfish needs. Although Nathan seems like a selfish b*****d, he is! Along the way, he built a small Droid, about the size of a cat, resembling a cat. But he never got the thing to work, so he carries it around in his backpack. Suddenly, he heard a whooshing noise and was shot in the neck by a poisoness tracking dart and fainted. When he awoke, he panicked! His eyes bleeding from its sockets, he was blind! He was in the middle of the desert feeling his bloody face and realizing he was defensless. He took a deep breath and suddenly felt something metallic around his eyes, and a couple seconds later, he saw for the first time through RED cypher eyes. And this is where we leave off... Rules:
I only have 1 big rule in this RP.
-Do not irritate me.
Simple right? Well, here are some things that DO irritate me:
-G-modding or semi G-modding. Semi G-modding is basically acting like a G-modder. This consists of acting like an over the top badass, disregarding other characters actions and going off on your own. Or just making other characters look like losers. This severely damages the RP experience, as well as the patience of the RPers themselves. Unless this is for story purposes, DO NOT DO THIS!!!! You will be warned. -Spamming -Chat speak. i h8 ppl who tlk lik dis. It seriously pisses me off, and countless others. It strips your character down of any cred they might have. -Killing of other players without the consent of myself and the person being killed. -Faliure to check up with the story arc as it goes along. I plan on moving this RP at a pretty decent pace. So keep up. I'll have a Synopsis post to help you if you miss out. -Faliure to check back on the rules as I add them. -When you submit profiles, pleas put who's party you want to be a part of as a subject.<--Highlight. That way, I'll know you read the Rules. -Improper Grammer. This is a SEMI LIT TO LIT rp. And that includes proper spelling and grammer. Not doing it is just... irritating. -Inactivity: Come on, guys. This one should be a no brainer. But I swear, people have a bad habit of dropping out without saying anything. If you don't want to be in this RP anymore, TELL ME! Don't just drop out. I'll send you a warning, then I'll just delete your profile, your character, and place your name on the Black list. -Disobeying the rules after multiple warnings. This will result in the punishment above. -Retarded RPing: This sounds like a joke, but I kid you not. You are in a post apocalyptic world, and even though there will be some humorous moments, this is very much an intense and serious RP that will demand posts that fit in the theme of this.
My policy on OCC:
-Cannot be extensive. If you think it might, take it to PMs. -Always, ALWAYS have RPing with OCC. If you think you might have to leave, say so, as well as RP. This gives the other people something to work with, and is very annoying when they have to wait for your return.
Also, keep these things in mind:
-Try to color your texts colors that match your characters personality. Just make sure the color is easy to read. -Depending on what party your in, either Bold, Italicize, or Underline your texts. This will prevent confusion. -If you have any ideas for the story you think would be nice, then please PM it to me. I will give you time to play that plot twist out. I'm fairly tolorant. As long as you ask me for permission, I'll probably say yes. -If you want to switch parties, then PM me and let me know. -Like previously stated, this rp is semi lit to lit. At least a paragraph per post. I understand writers block, but do not make it consistent.
**IMPORTANT**
Ark's Party will post normally. Other Parties will be posting in either Bold or Underlined. It will be specified.
Races are NOT confinined to certain parties. Any race can be in any party.
I want different fonts for different races. Any ideas? PM me.
-As issues turn up, I WILL update this post. So check back often.
-Remember, I posses the ultimate weapon, more powerful than anything ever concieved in this RP: the Ban Hammer. Those who suffer its attack cannot recover, and will never again post in this RP. Keep this in mind whenever I speak to you about the rules.

CODEX:
Geography:
Terra Solaris is a barren, dry wasteland, for the most part. Water is scarce, and traveling is difficult for even seasoned travelers. Most colonies are built around the small sources of water found on the wasteland. Some claim that small bits of forest still remain, and that is where magic is most concentrated. But that territory is occupied by the Cyphers, and neither human nor Earthrender can settle these areas, relighting the hatred between humans and Cyphers.
The three races, Human, Cypher, and Earthrender, all take different corners on the map. Humans take the southwestern end, while Cyphers ecompass all the northern part of the world. Earthrenders have no formal home, and wander the wastes, regardless of territory. But they have preferred the scorching deserts of the Atmoic Wasteland off to the east, and are most concentrated around there.
Terminology:
Magic: Magic is the art of channeling power in the world via various, "Spirit Gates," Each Spirit Gate is guarded by legendary entitites known as, "Espers," While never being in contact with mortals before, Espers are worshipped all over the world by Humans and Cyphers alike. When a Human or Cypher casts magic, they call upon the power of these Espers to unlock the gates to their magic, and the spell is cast in the mortal world. The Espers, and their Spirit Gate, are as follows:
Asala: Goddess of life, of hope, and benevolence. She guards the Asala Gate, which is a source of life and healing.
Tyrant: God of war, death, and darkness. Offensive spells lie behind his Gate.
Sylph: Fairy of shapes, sizes, and matter. Her Gate deals with shapeshifting and other living entities. Humans use her gate to unleash magic that affects nature. Some Humans claim that Cyphers use Sylphs Gate as a source of their shapeshifting power.
Drives: Adepts and other Gate users call their skills "Gating". Warriors and other fighters call their skills "Drives" And they are just as varied, and deadly, as Gating. Warriors channel adrenaline through their body to perform feats that would otherwise be impossible. These feats are called Drives. But not only are they powerful, they come with a heavy cost, such as self injury. That's why major training is vital for any warrior. The more physically tough a warrior is, the less kickback a Drive inflicts on the user.
Mystic Drive: A Mystic Drive is a deadly combination of Gating and Drives. Only Vanguards are capable of using Mystic Drives. These skills include spellblades among other deadly skills. Mystic Drives are often lethal, to both the inflicted AND the inflictor. It makes Mystic Drives the most unstable type of skill known in the world. It is this aspect that make Vanguards very rare. But any living Vanguard is a deadly force, closer to a god than any other class. Vanguards usually never learn their Mystic Drives until very late in their training, usually in their 30's.
CLASSES:
In Terra Solaris, disciplines are chosen from utilizing one or more of the three basic traits: Combat, Tech, and Magic. The following is a list of all the classes, and what it entails:
Warrior: This discipline focuses on raw combat powers. Forsaking the obvious advantages of Magic and Tech, Warriors are capable of powerful physical attacks, or lightning quick, precise strikes, depending on how the warrior chooses to fight. This class can be chosen if you are a Human or a Cypher. A Human Warrior cannot use firearms, instead using swords, axes, spears, bows, etc. A Cypher Warrior can transform into any animal, but cannot mix and match traits from other animals the way an Adept can.
Engineer: This discipline focuses on technological genius, at the expense of magic and physical strength. Engineers are best when they have a computer in front of them. However, this doesn't mean they are combat able. They use firearms and small droids to fight. An Engineer is a capable opponent to an Earthrender. Earthrender Engineers focus on repairing and maintaining other Earthrenders, but can utilize computer virus' to defeat other synthetic life. Engineers can be chosen by Humans, or Earthrenders.
Adept: This class is focused on the flow of magic. Adepts can utilize the flow of magic to commands powerful forces. Before the Contact War, Adepts were the most common class. But in the dying state of the planet now, magic is limited to small spells and incantations, making an Adept a rare, but still formidible, class. This class can be chosen by Humans or Cyphers. For Cyphers, this class is the most prominent, as any animal form can be used for fighting. A Cypher Adept is not limited by preexisting animals, as they can mix and match certin traits, but their muscular tone is always weaker than true animals, forcing an Adept to adopt traits from other animals to create their own species.
Infiltrator: Infiltrators combine the combat prowess of a Warrior and the Tech savvy of an Engineer, making them valuable spies, assassins, and agents. Infiltrators prefer fighting from a distance, using long range sniper rifles and setting traps for the enemies. Infiltrators cannot use magic of any kind, and rely only on their minds and stealth to get the jobs done. Infiltrators can be chosen by Humans or Earthrenders.
Guardian: Guardians combine the tech smarts of an Engineer and the magic power of an Adept. Forsaking combat power, they focus on benevolent styles, making them valuable medics and repairmen. Guardians are a valuable asset to any wandering group. A Guardian can be chosen by either a Human or an Earthrender. A Human Guardian is better suited for magic, while Earthrender Guardians are more suited for Tech. Each race is better suited to heal its own.
Vanguard:Vanguards combine magic and combat capabilities, making them a nightmare for any fighter. Vanguards are front-line shock troopers that take the field even before Warriors. Vanguards choose to use their magic power to augment their own fighting abilities, and cannot cast offensive spells the way an Adept can. Due to the intense training it requires to become a Vanguard, this class is very rare, and Vanguards are feared by all races, making them socially distant. A Vanguard can be chosen by either Human or Cypher. A Human Vanguard uses spellblade magic to change an element of their weapon, like bathing it in fire, or charge it with lightning. A Cypher Vanguard can combine magic with nature to create animals of mythic proportion. Like breathing fire, ice, or anything. A common myth about Dragons was that they were horrifying beasts, but it turned out to be a Cypher Vanguard.
RACES:
Humans: The rarest of all the races, humans are the most technological savvy race in the world. They are also the most suspicous. Humans have a deep seated hatred for other races. Humans think of others as beneath them, inferior. It was the humans who first initiated the Contact War: A bloody war that laster for twenty years. While humans were powerful in technology, they stood little to no chance against a Cypher, who can morph into any race. A few humans decided to, "Robotocize" themselves, and the first Earthrenders were born.
Humans are capable of all three traits: Combat, Tech, and Magic, but are unable to specialize in any trait. Humans can choose from every class.
Cyphers: The magical race that can shift their form to anything they desire. Cyphers have no original form. They take whatever form is nessessary, or a form that they just want to be in at the time. It was this lack of a basic form that cause the most tension between them and the humans. It also sparked many rumors about different aspects of Cypher culture, mostly around their mating rituals.
A Cypher, without taking any form at all, is a small wisp of energy, easily corrossive and fragile. More like a collection of energy particles. If energy was to be broken off from the main body, then it would grow and develop into a new Cypher. Not unlike Cellular Mitosis in humans. But these small wisps of energy are easily wiped out by natural forces. As such, a Cypher successfully growing up to adulthood is rare. Since Cyphers asexually reproduce, marriage and love are uncommon among the race.
In the event that a human form must be taken, Cyphers have created a code of honor to dictate their actions. One piece of that code is that Cyphers must create their ears to be pointed, so they can be identified by other Cyphers. It was this trait that caused the Humans to label them as "Elves" to match them with the mythological creatures.
Earthrender: The only Artificial life on Terra Solaris, Earthrenders are synthetic androids that retain their human personalities. A single Earthrender packs enough punch to wipe out a human settlement. As such, careful planning and major precaution must be taken in selecting the individual to Roboticize. If an Earthrender becomes rogue, it is referred to as a Feral Earthrender, and is treated as an enemy.

((I NOW DECLARE THIS RP OPEN!!! YEEEEEEAAAAAAHHHH!))
CHAPTER 1: THIS BLOOD ON MY HANDS IS ONLY THE BEGINNING
Ark yawned and slowly stepped out of the house, his sister, Ivy, right behind him.
"Great. Another boring, bland day," Ark grumbled.
As always, the sky was the same dark gray shade as always. clouds were a dark black blotch on the world.
Ivy was always depressed by the sight. The siblings had heard rumors that the world was once green and the sky was blue, but it was way before their time.
"Alright, Ark. Let's just get to class." Ivy said.
Again with the damn classes.
That was the only thing that Butch thought as he trudged to class. Life in the Settlement sucked. But leaving is impossible.
All Butch could do was just live through every day. Until he was dead.

((this is going to be a bit tricky. 4 characters at once! wow. Well Im going to try something new. bear with me)) It may be that your sole purpose in life is simply to serve as a warning to others. Corbin Stewart There were no windows. There was no sound. The air smelt of thick burnt steel every morning. The ashes in the pit were slowly dying away. He had kept himself busy that night. The work had tired him out. It was what Corbin did to ease his mind. It was his meditative santuary. His body was bent over a desk, swords were placed on the walls of his basement. His art hung for all to see. Then, finally he wakened from the cloud of dust coming from the pit. He coughed and checked the time on his wrist. "Holy s**t! Im late!" Corbin rushed for the upstairs door blindly, tripping up the stairs. He was a mess. His face was charred black from the ashes from last night, working on his other project. Another sword. "The overseer is going to kill me if im late again!" He kicked the front door down and ran, without breakfast. He ran toward the settlment, luckily not too far off, and on his way, stole an apple out of someone's hand. "Hey!" The kid yelled at him, but did not pursue. "Tough luck!" He yelled at the kid, took a bite and ran to class. Why did class have to start so early? He thought, hoping to make it on time for the first time. Child prodigy is a curse because you've got all those terrible possibilities. Leahn Smith Class is a waste of my time. She knew everything already, everyone treats her like a careless child and all she ever wanted is for someone to see her for who she really was. A fighter. A warrior. But thats not how it is. Her destiny was built upon the foundation of Guardianship. There was no choice for her. Blame her father, hes gone now, so he is to blame. Besides, everyone expects that of her. She couldnt let anyone down. Leahn Smith grabbed her books and headed for class. Her hair was hidden underneath her beanie, her naturally clean and perfect skin was all that she had. She wore no makeup, she never really cared. Most strangers who meet her, call her "boy" or "sir". Well, until she speaks. She preferred mens clothing anyways; wearing baggy boy slacks and boots. But her shirt was tight enough to see....her figure. "Yo Butch!" Leahn called to him. Her only "friend" is Butch. She always felt a closeness to him although he was never really nice or kind. But neither was Leahn.

((Libel's picture is gone! >O NOOO! I guess ill try and find it on photobucket again but in the mean time...no libel pic.)) *Libel* Time heals all wounds But what happens When there isn't enough time to heal mine? Drip. Drip. Drip.
The darkness was thick. The stench of blood filled the suffocating air and the cold, dark, man-made concrete beneath the body of a young girl was unbearable torture on her red soaked body. She was unconscious for now, until the dripping entered her ears. She moved. Than the pain started. She moaned and whined, staying still, her face on the bottom of the cave. Her name was Libel. She only knew of that name. Everything else, was frightening. As she begins to awaken, the pain reaches her spine. "Awww!" She whimpered, chords were attached to her spine, connecting into the nerves. There was another thing, as she felt around, her eyes welling with tears and fear. A piece of her skull has been removed revealing in place a machine, Libel couldnt describe. Why was she here? Her memories were no good to her. As Libel struggled to understand, voices became apparant deeper into the cave. "She isnt awake, sir. What shall we do now?" "Nothing." A deep voice replied. "Nothing, sir?" "Right now all there is to do is watch. Pray to Tyrant that this works." The voices seem to carry on farther in the cave. All this made no sense to Libel. But her instincts told her to get the hell out of there. She stood, her knees buckling beneath her. She was weak from all the blood loss. She crawled on her knees until she found a small tunnel. The morning light shone through and there was hope once more, escaping the darkness behind her. Nathan Blake Cats are known to see within the dark. Yet, if you had sight like a cat, even for one day, would you really want to see what's in the dark? Terra Solaris. What kind of nighmares carry on in the night? The Morning sun blazed upon a bent over body, covering his face from the heat. His fingers kept stroking where his eyes have been, wiping the blood away from the metal. He was once a human a little less than a day ago...he would never be called one again. There were no words to describe his emotions. He didnt feel any pain nor despair. All he thought at that moment was... Where are my old eyes? Everything around him was data. When his new eyes would search the are, words and numbers would appear in the air. Data went straight into his brain: 30 Miles away from civilization Water 40 Degrees East and 21 Degrees South Sand particles range in diameter from 0.0625 mm to 2 mm He looked away from the landscape and his eyes fell on his backpack. He could see inside the bag, like a transparent glass. Nathan stood up and walked closer to his backpack. Suddenly, the x-ray vision of his droid moved and he fell back frightened. He shook his head, and looked at the back pack again. It stopped. "This cant be real." He bent down to unzip his bag and as soon as the bag was opened, the little droid pounced out, moving about in a cat-like fashion. Nathan held out his hand and the droid responded with a scan. Nathan smiled, proud that his droid finally worked. But why now? Although confused, Nathan felt blessed at the same time. "Ill call you Kip." Nathan told his droid and stood, grabbing his bag and ax and searching the place. With his new eyes it was easy to know which direction he was facing: NorthWest: 30 miles civilization human settlement. He didnt know why, but he felt he HAD to go there. His eyes showed him the safest path to follow. He began his journey with the little droid, Kip, following next to him.

Ark yawned as the two of them, plus Pooch, walked towards the school.
"Another day, another boring day," Ark droned.
He heard a "Yo Butch!" and he knew who it was, Leahn.
Butch spun around and the two slapped a high five, "Well, look who it is. Leahn. What's new?"
Suddenly, out of the corner of Butch's eye, he saw him. Ark. That rat b*****d...
The two guys made eye contact, then Butch shrugged and said, "Of course. I knew you would have shown up, Ark. I was having such a wonderful day."
Ark laughed, "Yeah? What did you do, b***h? Cheat some poor kid from his allowance?"
"You b*****d..." Butch growled, "It's BUTCH!"
"Whatever, b***h," Ark said, "So what do you want?"
"Um... Ark?" Ivy said, "Let's just... go to class."
"Yeah? Look at what you're doing, all high and mighty?" Butch taunted Ark, "It's so pathetic,"
It was obivous to anyone the hostility between Butch and Ark. Ark always hated Butch because he made a move on Ivy once, and Ivy said no. That pissed Butch off, and now, the two boys were always at each other's throats.

Corbin Stewart It may be that your sole purpose in life is simply to serve as a warning to others.
But suddenly something more important came up. It wasnt too difficult to distract Corbin, especially when he's in the mood for some trouble. He smiled his deviant smile as his eyes targeted the two yelling students. Corbin tossed the apple in the air and threw it in the middle of their confrontation and the core hit Butch right in the head. "Oops sorry man! I thought you were trash." Corbin couldnt help but make himself known. He was pretty good at that. Even without his dirty clothes and charcoaled face he was wildly known as Ark's twin (in a sense). Leahn Smith Child prodigy is a curse because you've got all those terrible possibilities.
Leahn shrugged. There was never anything new happening in the settlement, the days have been repetitive and boring. However, there could always be drama when hanging with Butch. Leahn spotted Ark about the same time Butch had. Here we go again... She thought, her vein pulsed beneath her forehead. She hated that kid, Ark. His presense irritated the hell out of her. "C'mon Butch. This guy... I mean this piece of s**t, isnt worth our time." She spat and glared at Ark, trying to convince Butch to get over this feud. But then someone else came into the picture. It was him. Corbin Stewart. She despised him the most. "You a*****e!" she yelled at Corbin, reacting to the thrown apple.

"Oh no!" Ark whined in a mocking tone, "I'm so scared! I think I just might piss myself!"
Ark shrugged and started off, "You're right, Ivy. Let's go. Corbin, Don't bother. You talk to Tweedle A and Tweedle B any longer, their idiocy will rub off on you."
"Okay THAT'S IT!" Butch roared and lunged at Ark. Lashing out with a massive punch, he grimaced when Ark easily blocked it with his sword.
Ark always carries a wooden sword with him. He never goes anywhere in the colony without it, almost as if it was a piece of clothing.
And in case he had to put Butch in line. Like right now.
Butch's punch, although blocked, did create a massive force which kicked up the dust around them. The two of them were locked in that pose for awhile, before Butch growled, "I'm warning you, Ark. Don't push me,"
"...And I'M warning YOU, b***h," Ark seethed, "Just because you're the Overseer's favorite, doesn't mean you can do whatever you want."
When Butch growled his answer, Ark snickered, "Then again... I have been getting a little bored as of late. This oughta provide at least a small distraction.
The two jumped away from each other, and they set themselves up in their battle stanced.
"Please, you two!" Ivy begged, "Don't do this!"
"Ivy," Ark said, "Go to class. I'll meet up with you later. Oh, and take notes for me, alright?"
Ivy hesitated, then nodded. As she ran off, she seethed at her reckless brother.

((Ok im very lazy today so no post format. But im working on making my posts look pretty...soon))
Corbin laughed at the comment about Tweedle A and Tweedle B, but when the argument never reached its end, it wasnt a surprise that they would have an all out "war" on school grounds...again. This always happens and once the two jumped back, Corbin looked at Ivy and watched her run off. Corbin wanted to just grab himself a bag of popcorn and watch the battle unfold, but if he was late to class one more time, he would be in deep s**t. "I know you can take him." Corbin smiled at Ark and waved to him. "Ill see you in class, knock the s**t out of him!" He wasnt worried one bit for his friend, but he felt he should comfort Ivy a little. He ran to catch up to her and followed her to class. "Ark will be fine...isnt he always?" Corbin gave her a smile to try and cheer her up.
Leahn was tired of this stupid fights. What was the point of all this fighting? She crossed her arms and sighed. "This is all a waste of time." Leahn muttered under her breath and gave the "birdie" to Corbin as he ran off after that girl, Ivy. If she saw him again or heard his voice one more time, she would explode into fury and there maybe yet another fight. So she stayed put and sat down a few feet away from Butch and Ark, resting her head on her palms. Hell with the classes, she already knew everything anyways. "Lets get this over with." She said to Butch. Ark deserved to get his a** beat. She would enjoy to watch.

Ivy smiled and waved at Corbin when he approached. She always liked him because he was just like her brother. Kind, funny... but rash and unpredictible.
"I...I don't know," Ivy said, "He and Butch always fight. I'm not even sure why they do it anymore. They've just hated each other for as long as they've been around. Each time they fight, it gets more and more severe."
She looked down, "I'm just afraid that one day, they might kill each other."
"Bite the dust!" Ark shouted as he jumped forward, bringing a powerful overhead slash.
Butch caught the blade, "Really? So straightforward!" he then lunged forward with a powerful punch straight towards Ark's gut.
"And YOU'RE so predictible!" Ark said gleefully as he gracefully spun out of the way. Using the momentum of the spun, he jumped up, using his grip on the sword as leverage, and delivered a powerful kick to the back of Butch's head.
Butch cried out and lost focus temporarily. Staggering forward, he tried desperately to clear to fog from his head.
Not fast enough.
Ark clobbered the b*****d, and he was sent toppling to the floor.
"Had enough, b***h?" Ark cackled.
...No... Not again. He wouldn't... lose... again!
Butch jumped off the ground like a spring. Fire seemed to burn in his eyes. Butch clenched his right fist, and a small, white ball of energy formed around it.
Ark gasped and stepped back, "Butch?! What the hell? When did you learn a Drive?"
**Codex will be updated with Drives**
"Who cares!" Butch roared, "I'm gonna pulvarize you!"
Butch charged forward, brought his fist forward, and howled, "Solar Impact!"
Ark brought his sword up to block it. At the same time, he braced for impact. Ark didn't know any Mystic Drives. Too early in his training, but Butch knew a Drive! This was bad!
Butch's fist collided with Ark's sword in a massive impact. The force created a shockwave that kicked up a massive cloud of dust from the ground, concealing both of them from all surrounding spectators, which had increased a great deal since the fight began.
When the dusts settled, both Ark and Butch were on the ground. Ark was using his sword for support, while Butch was gasping for breath.
The impact his Ark square in the chest, and he was bleeding. Not serious, but that was a powerful Drive for Butch's first one. Ark's sword was splintered, and was close to snapping.
That was Butch's first time using Solar Impact, and it had taken its toll on him. Butch's entire right arm was raw and bloody, and he held his hand like it was broken.
The entire classroom shook, and Ivy and Corbin, now at class, felt the impact.
Ivy gasped. She knew it must be Ark. She didn't know how, but she suddenly had this sick feeling in her stomach.
"ARK!" She cried as she jumped out of her desk, ignoring the teacher orders, and dashed out of the classroom. She quickly found the site and screamed at Ark's defeated form.
"AAAAAARK!" Ivy cried as she rushed to her brother's side, catching him just in time as his sword, already splintered, had snapped.

((Ok well Im working on a post format for all 4 of my characters but for now i will just post this crappy thing. lol))
During the fight, Leahn watched and waited, thinking this fight will come to a tragic end for Butch once more. She would help, but she understood that it was HIS fight and no one should interfere. Knowing Butch, he would just yell at her no matter what condition he was in. He never accepted any help. But the fight didnt go as expected. Leahn suddenly stood up from her spot and her eyes widened with surprise. A Drive...She knew exactly what that was. A Drive also known as "Gating" or what Leahn calls it, Stupidity. Anger and curiosity shot across her face and once the fight ended, or so she thought it ended, Leahn ran to Butch's side the same time Ivy showed up by Ark's. She examined his bloody arm. "When did you learn to do that?" She stared at him serious, wondering when he found the time to learn and how he managed to accomplish something like that without hurting himself even more. "What a stupid thing to do!" Leahn shook her head and yet she couldnt hide the fact that she also thought it was amazing. "Your damn lucky Im here." Leahn whispered to him. "But I dont know if you deserve to be healed....you knew how dangerous that was."
Corbin took his seat behind Ivy and thought what she said into consideration. He wished he could comfort Ivy and tell her, her brother is going to be ok, but knowing Ark and his recklessness, that would be a lie. Suddenly books flew off the shelves and as if an earthquake had struck the area, everything was scattered in the classroom. Corbin looked straight at Ivy and he was thinking the same thing that she yelled. Ark... As she left, Corbin stood and followed but stopped at the door when the teacher yelled at him to stay put and seated. "What are you going to do, suspend me?" He laughed and ran out the door, toward Ark and Butch. He made it as soon as Ivy fell down to her brother's side. "Holy s**t man!" Corbin put his hand to his head and dropped down to Ark's level. There was so much blood! He saw the sword near Ark and almost cried as he saw such a beautiful weapon shatter. His attention was back on everyone. "What should I do? Should I go get the overseer?" He didnt want to go back in the building but Ark needed some help.

Crawling on her hands and knees looked back behind her, trying to be as quiet as possible, shortening her breath and keeping herself in the shadows. Abruptly and unexpectedly, the ground disappeared beneath the young bloody and weak girl and she fell down a small drop off, the soft dry ground cushioned her fall. Libel scratched her leg but nothing more on the way down. She whimpered and looked around to see where her fall had lead her to. Big giant trees reaching for miles it seemed up into the sky surrounded her. There was a morning mist that spread around the forest floor and the canopy covered the sun from reaching Libel. She looked back up where she had fallen and luckily couldnt see the top of the cliff, which means those guys in the cave couldnt see her either. But that didnt stop her from fearing the worst. Once they find she is missing, they will hunt for her.
Although young, wounded, and frightened, Libel was not helpless or hopeless yet. Even when her body is filled with strange pieces of machines and tubes, her will power was still strong and determined. Her instincts told her to run and she ran further into the dark morning trees. She didnt know where she was going since the trees confused her sense of direction. As long as its away from where she previously was. Then out of the blue, an explosion took place, and a loud screeching sound echoed from the cave. Libel stopped fell to her knees and slammed her hands to her ears. The scream was torture for Libel, the young girl cried out in pain. Her head throbbed and she knew if she stayed there for one more minute, they will find her. Something was getting closer to her, she could sense it. Fighting against the pain and noise, Libel sprinted and ran to nowhere. Who was she? Where was she? Her memories her purpose and her life has been taken away from her. Who is Libel?
"I am the lucky one, arnt I, Kip?" The small droid rested beside Nathan Blake as he found a spot to camp just a few miles behind the human civilization, less than half an hour away from his destination. But he knew if he was seen the way his eyes look now, who knows what humans would do to him. It was a dangrous world and he has to be cautious. So far he didnt know what these knew eyes could do. Could they do more than analyze data? He stared at his droid and tilted his head. "What else can you do, Kip?" The little droid reacted to his voice and suddenly its tail whipped around and a light opened up, scanning Nathan's red eyes. He jumped in surprise and pushed the droid away. Then he saw something: DNA CODE ANAYLYZING IMPRINTING . . . COMPLETE. What the ******** was that? He thought. All this was too weird. The little droid pranced like a happy puppy and a small chime came from the droid. "I dont know what you did." Nathan said to it, rubbing his head. Watching his droid point the way to the civilization. It seemed like it wanted to go quickly. "But I guess we will find out, wont we?" He figured. But before he followed his droid, he took out his sunglasses from his bag and placed them on. "Now I look human." he said to himself entering the civilization.
((lets get his party started. I dont know what im doing with LIbel yet but it would be cool if you could think of something...))
