This is probably a dumb question, but I thought season 7 was going the be the end of the series, but apparantly season 8 is now airing on cartoon network. I can't buy any of the season 8 stuff yet so it's driving me crazy. Anybody know how many episodes there are total that have aired in Japan - any end in sight?

I don't really want the series to end, but I would like for Kagome to eventually get together with Inuyasha xp

i saw part of season 8, it's so cool
inuyasha and kagome are together now
they almost kissed too, but sota walked in on them and ruined it crying

WHAT!?!?!?

"Season 8" is actually Inuyasha the Final Act. Inuyasha has 167 episodes, then it's followed by the Final Act which has 26. So in total Inuyasha has 193 episodes (I think...I suck at math and I added those in my head, so if I'm wrong please don't hang me out to dry).
