Bryan Fury
His breathing was shallow as he lay upon the surgical table, the bright lights blinding his eyes. Bryan had no idea where he was as the last thing he could remember; he was on a hunt and then the next thing he knew he was here. As the surgical team finished their procedure, Bryan fell out of conciousness again. This time when he awoke, he was in the compounds recovery room. Everything was a blur to the man and he couldn't make sense of anything around him, for some reason he couldn't feel his left arm either.
Once the anesthesia wore off Bryan finally took a good look around the room and caught sight of a fellow hunter, William landings. "What.... what happened? why am I here?" asked Bryan hoping for some clues as to what had occurred.
The young hunter gave a small smile and shook his head. "you nearly died, thats what happened." replied William in a matter of factly tone. "Huh? when? I.... I don't remember being..." It was then that it all started to come back to him, him and his brother had been hunting a demon and lost its trail. Ready to give up they walked back to the car and as he placed the key into the door..... he felt a sharp pain in his chest and he blacked out, his brothers voice the last thing he heard.
Bryan opened his medical gown and grimaced as he laid his eyes upon the series of stitches that went down his chest. "But why aren't I dead then? and what about Kyle?!"
"The docs had to fit you with a new heart and replace some of the damaged tissue....... but.... Kyle.... i'm sorry.... all we could find was his knife...." Explained Will as he handed the blade to Bryan, his head down in shame as he did so. "this can't be happening!...... I need to find Kyle!" shouted Bryan as he attempted to get out of bed only to be held back by Will.
"You can't do anything!.... he's gone... and if you try and go find him you'll only wind up the same way! We did all that we could just to save you.... we can't have you throwing your life away pursuing your dead brother.... just deal with it..." Yelled Will as he held down Bryan, while the doctors administered some sedative.
