The Curse



-This is what the Fortuneteller looks like-


Long ago a story fortold by a fortune teller drifted throughout the land, made the spines of many shiver in fear. Many creatures would no longer walk on all fours, but like humans. So pets, Zoo animals, wild creatures would wander the world without their fur, without their normal abilities, and without their normal animilaistic pride; Though they keep their ears, tails, horns, or whater ever sticks with them through the transition. The curse didn't happen the next day and the town thought it to be a fake and scorned the women for her fake prophacy and chased her out of town. The problem was she wasn't meaning the next day, but years from then. Now almost five hundred years later the curse is in affect and the furocious howls of animals changing in the night of a new moon, echoe through the air. Many of those animals die by their clans, or packs while others are taken in as slaves or as other things people wish them to become. The problem is they are all guys, What will you choose for their lives?

And does this include humans as well? are they affected as well? Yes they are they are just like beasts, but not very many are affected.

Main Rule: If the Admins don't like it then don't do it got it?

1: Girls are allowed to play guys, Yes guys you can come have fun too.

3: Post more then one sentence, writters block is acceptable, but please even I know you can post more then one liners even with writters block.

5: This is semi lit to lit thread, mistakes are acceptable.
6: Post more then once a week I know their may be some minor problems in doing so, but please post often as you can possiblely do so. Warning letters will be sent out if You have been gone for to long without saying you left the thread or you don't state why your gone for so long.

7: Please don't leave poster's hanging for days on end for a response, warn them and me when you will be gone for long periods of time
8: Pm human profiles as 'I will tame you' and Pm beasts as 'Touch me and I'll kill you.'
9: You can have up to three characters no more Scratch that....have as many as you like. It doesn't matter to me.
10: Pritty posts and long posts are appreciated so do not, be timid in doing so thank you.

Duo sat in the farthest reaches of his newly aquired home. a pet shop off of forty fith street and careswell street. The neon sign out side blinking in random colors spelling Silavis whitch was a animal slave trade for creatures who had been cursed.

Duo was very defient and often got beaten by the tradesmen here. Though when he got beat just enough Duo would hunker in the back of his cage and nurse his wounds. Once healed he would start back up on his wild rampage to be set free. The one things he feared the most was and abusive owner. sure once someone set their eyes on him he would become instantly still and unable to fight that person. He may be deffiant, but he loved testing his owners. If they were kind he would behave and enjoy it for the time being. If they were twisted and evil then he would fight them with all the energy he had left to use.

So here he was cuddling his abused right arm that had been broken in the scuffle. The owner was angry at his mean for damaging his 'merchendise' so the man had to seel him for cheeper now. so insted of running for the normal 1000 yen he was running at a low 500 yen. Duo whimmpered slightly, but other wise did nothing else. Many people poked their nose at his cage making him fidget under their gaze. In the end he was glad no one wanted him. This was always dangerous. a damaged beast was always good for the people, and it made it easier for them to buy them when they run cheep like him.

Duo's tail swayed back and forth accasionally thumping against the cage floor and making small rattling sounds to the chain that led to the collar around his neck. His silver eyes stayed down casted and looking away from the eyes he knew was boring into him.

Duo ssniffed the air the smell of a small cat filled his nose and he looked over. He tilted his head in a questioning kind of way his eyes watching the feline as it seemed to stay there unworried that he was half panther. He crawled to the end of the cage, "Hay there." He rasped softly as he sat at the end of his cage, not paying attention to anyone else in the store. "You shouldn't be here anyone who's not like me isn't allowed except humans. The owners will get mad...he always does even when I do things to not anger him. Though now adays I take to doing it on purpose.....it's better to die then live like this." His ears went back and he reached out to the cat, hoping it wouldn't attack his hand when all he wanted to do was pet it. He may not have been a half ling for long, but he had picked up quickly on human habits since he was going to be living among them for a while.

His tail thumped against the bars of the cage making them rattle slightly. His silver eyes glancing up in time to see the owner and a new guy he'd never seen before. He retracted his hand when the owner saw him touching the cat his mind screamed out 'uh oh'. He fled to the back of the cage when the man started yelling at him and threatening him witbh the words 'beast touch that cat and I'll beat you.' He curled up in the back of his cage and his tail tucked itself up around him as he shivered slightly cradling the arm that had been broken early that morning for something stupid he had done. He down cast his eyes and ignored the men trying not to cause anymore pain to his abused appendages.

Duo's eyes shifted up to the male talking to him, he flinched and shrank away. Duo didn't know how to react to people not after his first experiance with them. He visably shuddered violently and looked down at the cat in his lap. His fingers ran across the back side of the cats ears as he debated on answering the male. He eventually gave in, but a little grudgingly. "It's what happenes when I fight back....they beat me for my miss behavior," His voice seemed broken yet soft and distant all at once. "That's not all that's wrong with me either," The man behind him glared and Duo could feel those eyes on him and he shivered. He knew he would get it later and there would be a promise of pain from that cruel man and his men. They had unorthadoxed ways of punishing their merchandise. His silver eyes stayed pointedly on the cat in his lap and affectionate smile on his face and his tail started to sway again.

He spoke to the cat in his lap softly, "Your different from others kitty. Most would attack me because of what I am.....just like my clan and those vile humans who hurt me when I was new to this form." He shivered at the memory. He petted the kitty one last time, "You should go to your father kitty. I'll be okay I promise," his ears went back and he didn't look up at any of the males standing outside his cage. He felt like he could cry and he wished he would vanish into the darkest pits of dispair. Though he would never do that, he was defient until he was owned once again, and he would always test the one who owns him constantly to know him or her better.

The owner chuckled, "that happened when he attacked a customer of ours. He was a favorite and so he was punished justly." Duo growled knowing the man was telling the other a lie just so he would go away and Duo would once again be punished just for being defient and fighting back when he was being attacked by them. Duo was no virgin and he never had the chance to be one for long when he had become human. That vile gang he had met had nursed him to health only to use him then sell him. "He often gets into trouble and needs punishing, Plus I hear his last owners had been attacked by him and they sold him once they cuaght him just like all the others who were cursed. These beasts will always be violent and vile." Duo looked away and his face was shadowed by his hair and stayed silent though his teeth were clenched as he seethed in anger at the owner. His lies pissed him off to no end and he hated this the most when staying here. It was the mans way of keeping him here for himsefl and his own twisted ways.

Duo's head snapped up, "What?" confusion flitted across his face. Had he just missed something? he thought the man and the cat called Allie were going to leave once she went to her father. Duo called him that since that's how he preceived their connection and the way they acted. He stayed where he was lost in disbeleif as his eyes stared wide eyed at him. When he looked to the owner of the he shrank away at those eyes of hate towards him. It wasn't his fault was it? what did he do? he was polite and told him what he wanted to know didn't he? Not to mention he had kept his mouth shut through the mans lies. The owner grumbled and unlocked the cage, but otherwise didn't say anything to either of them. He grabbed Duo's collar and tugged gently as to not seem like he was treating the feline boy badly, and unlocked the chain from his collar, but otherwise left the collar around his neck. He backed away and waited for the money owed for taking Duo.

Duo stayed put scared, confused, angry, and lost at what to do. His eyes stayed on the man, not sure what to make of him. Also why was the owner so afraid of him and why was it so important for him to be nice now when the man had threatened him? His ears stayed back and his tail was motionless as he sat there cradling his arm now. Even for one like Duo to be stuck here so long he was unnaturally pale looking. His skin though tried to stay vibrant with the golden tan color that was his skin. He was like that since he got there showing he hadn't been out in the sun. Th gold looking like a pail color of what it should look like if he were to be in the sun. Others in their caged homes looked at Duo. Incouraging him to go knowing it would be his only chance to get the hell out of there.

Duo looked down, "Why?.....Why wouold you help me when no one else would? Why would you care what happens to me? I- I don't understand at all." He let go of his arm and got out of the cage, a light blush ran across his face. He knew these were questions a child would ask, but he had to know. Even if it was a false attempt at hope. If it was only because of Allie he knew that his new owner didn't truelly care about him. Just like everyone else.
