Bio:Rajang is a beast type monster with two large horns on its head. Rajang resemble the Blangonga in its appearance and movement, even having some of the same attack attacks but Rajang has broader muscles, a hairy-tip of the tail & possibly, an electrical sac in their body system. They are rarely seen in the wild due to their lonesome lifestyle. The Rajang's most notable attack is its ability to shoot electricity from its mouth, either as a blast or a beam.
Bio on Golden Rajang (HR-9):
Golden Rajang is a Rajang that is locked in Rage mode, not only that but it's rage mode even goes higher, making a electrical arura around it's fists it's Ferocity, speed, agility, and offcorse attack will rise drimatically. this Rajang allready lost it's tail, there for it never will be returning to it black pelted form. If you are not equipted by a well electric and physically risitable armor you will get 1 hit KO from some of it's attacks. when it's in the golden mode the Rajang will NOT fall into a pit trap but in stead when it's in a normal rage mode it will, make sure to remember that.

Facts:
-You can stop a Rajang from going Rage mode once their health is half way down, but to do so you must have a Ice based weapon and cut off it's tail doring Rage mode. Having the skill: "Hawk Eyes" might help you to know when is the right time to cut that tail off, just don't forget to pain ball it.
-Aldoe during normal mode Rajang will not fall into a pit trap, but in rage mode he will.
-yes you DO have to break off bouth of it's horns to get ONE horn from the reword bin. crying but if you do it in G-Rank quest you get 2 upper class Rajang Horn some times... but who whants a Upper Class Rajang horns when your after the Hard Horn!? gonk

Q: What armor will be good agenst a Rajang quest?
A: any thing that has good def and good rist agenst elecric would be a good start. I prefer Kirin searies, it has a desent skill, high rist agenst electric and has high def. if it's a Golden Rajang I suggest Kirin X 95% it's skill good luck will save your skin big time.


Q: what weapon is best to go agenst the Rajang?
A: any thing that produce great physical damage and produce Ice damage as well. Long Swords normaly does the job but if your one of does keep it safe person Great Sword, Lance, or Bow might do the trick. Sword and Shield allright but you have to attack on every opertunity you can get before the time limit. but if you get use to the fight with Rajang pirtty much any weapon will do the trick lolz.

that's true, you DO have to get a Rajang Horn to unlock the armor at the black smith, sense the armor is practically made out the beast's horns. i think you nead total of 6.
here's the list of items you nead to make the Rajang Armor.

now to break the horns you have to strike the head countless time, it woud be esier if you use stunt trup and atttack the Rajang's face and keep doing that prosses over and over. if your useing a bow get a bow with a high damage and with Persing lvl3or4 on it. if it's G-Rank lvl 4 or 5 would brek it off (make sure you aim the horns not the face.)

when it get's into a rage mode use flash bombs. you don't want to fight a Rajang head on while it's super sayan pissed. in stead prepare for the next attack for once he turns back normal. heal, make new traps, set traps so on.

after you run out of trap thing will get tricky, but it's a chance you gatta take. do this when ever your behind or at the side of the Rajang, as it turns attack his face ONCE! then roll under trew his torso. that way when he does the fist move it won't hit.

also, in normal mode wait till it fires the thunder beam. stay on his right side because that's the first horn to break. during it's fire, attack like no tomorrow and when it finishes the beam roll under it's belly, run and wait for the next timing. once that side of the horn is done swich over to the left and do the same pathern. DO NOT DO IT WHILE IT'S IN RAGE MODE! you will get hurt just by getting near it.

sense Rajang is a huge monkey his horns will be hard to reach. I suggest to use a ice based weapon with a long reach such as LS and GS. Hammer i allright if you got what it take to doge and match the speed whith Rajang. if lucky you can knock it's light out! also getting boost ups like demon drugs+ will help break it. xd

lol thank but I'm just a wreckless hunter xd . oh once you hit HR-9 there is few quests you have to face the Super Rajang. there's a dual sayan Rajang quest at the great areana, but unlike the village final bouth of them will be waiting for you at the same time. then there is the quest called "Diamond Dust" where you have to fight Tigrex then Golden Rajang. (this one was my favorate for some reason. sweatdrop )

yeah sure. infact most of the ppl use hunting horn when their in a group hunt for Rajang. but practically any weapon will do. 3nodding hell I hunt that thing with it's own horns (The Rajang LS) xd

I'm wondering how you get the Ice Katana that is recommended for fighting the Rajang.
