Walking through a wall, a tall blonde shaman figure stepped into an awkwardly dressed up room. "My lord?" His voice ran through the room. He then found his eyes settling upon a sleeping re-headed man. Smiling faintly, he shook his head. "Oh, my lord. What is it you are planning now?" The figure made its way over to the sleeping king. Gently, the shaman shook the other man. "Lord Anid, what are you up to now?"
Feeling the shake from another person, Anid opened his bright blue eyes and his glaze fell upon his his Shaman. "Bah, Hathern. That one was such a wonderful nightmare!" Sitting up, the man stretched and yawned. Rubbing his face with a hand, and then up to his hair, he pulled at it slightly as a look of discontent filled his face. "I am throwing a party thing... Although the room looks like crap.." He looked up at Hathern and planted a big grin on his face.
Giving a sigh, Hathern relaxed his form. "You are impossible, my lord." Turning around, Hathern went to work. Using his magic it took him about ten minutes to get the whole hall done up. "And food?" He asked, although it wasn't common for spirits to eat. It was more for show or entertainment then a need. Turning, he look upon the throne to see it empty.
"Ah, no food, nor drinks. We are all dead idiots any ways." Anid gave a grin as he stood beside Hathern. "Its about time you did something though, you lazy a**." Smirking, he smacked Hathern upside the back of his head. "And now we wait for the guests." Anid laughed as he started to walk forward and away from the shaman.
Drawing out his staff, Hathern used the end of it to tap Anid on the head. "Indeed, King of Sins." He smiled as he followed Anid and stood beside the throne.
Rubbing the back of his head, Anid grinned and chuckled. "Let them die, and come. Oh such lovely bones shall be left!" He snapped his fingers and the doors opened, as the invites were sent out. Yawning again, he propped up his feet on the side of the chair and leaned on a pillow. Anid let himself fall into a light slumber, feeling safe with his Shaman at hand.

The doors had opened to the creepy chambers of the old house. It was a strange place to invite people to a party, and nobody knew what was to happen yet.
The guests, being told to arrive at the scene of the party promptly at 6, all stood shivering in the main halls of the forgotten house, each one wondering when the fun would begin. This place was definitely not the ideal place for such a love fest to be held as the invitations had stated, but it certainly was creepy enough for the dead. Not many knew why death and love had been linked together in such wording upon their invitations, but as the doors to creaked open and a few rats scurried for cover their doubts soon turned to fears.
Within the newly opened room lay rows upon rows of coffins. Spider webs hung here and there to mark how unused this particular room was in the household. The dust, thick and black, covered almost every inch of the room it could reach. Even the ceiling contained a nice layer of dust.
The guests all stood in a huddle looking into this room of death, each in their own mind wondering if they would ever return to this world from the world beyond as the letter had promised. But the letter had also spoke of a grand party beyond, and so far no grand party had been found yet.
Making her way through the crowd, the smallish female figure weaved in and out of the nearly frozen party-goers to the front of the pack. She had no fear of death herself, but moreso welcomed it with her lifestyle. In the past Death had meant new life, so there was no fear of a new sort of death. It meant being with those she had spend most of her afterlife with anyways, and a chance to escape the lust for blood for just an evening. So as she got to the front she slowed her rushed pace so she was merely strolling into the room. Her movements were fluid and she took the first coffin she came to. As if she had done such a thing in the past she lifted the lid up and slid it to the side before climbing in feet first and laying down. It was not as comfortable as her casket at home, but it was a final resting place nonetheless. Using her free hands she tugged on the side of the wooden lid to pull it down over her body and to close the coffin. Sighing she closed her eyes and felt her body drift off into a sleep of sorts.
Watching what the woman had done several more guests decided to copy her. One being the father and son figures of the dragon realm, who seemed not quite as terrified as some of the other living creatures, but were still weary of the whole thing. The party had been hosted by Anid after all, and he was known for his sneaky behavior. That and his laziness. Moving to the next vacant coffin Azerol lifted the lid to find dirt within the coffin as well. Shrugging he climbed in and closed the lid to start the process of death.
Kahn stalled as his father effortlessly climbed in and closed the lid. He was having second thoughts about all of this because he was the last shaman alive now. Would something happen if he were to lay down and die tonight? There had to always be a balance of shamans and reapers in the world, and this could throw the world out of balance for the night. But he shook the dark thoughts from his mind and had some faith in the world. They will survive on their own tonight, he told himself as he opened his own coffin and climbed in with some effort. He did not know how Nar knew how to get into a coffin so easily, but now he did not care because he had gotten in his and closed the lid. Struggling to find a comfortable position he resorted to laying on his back in a death-like fashion and resting his hands on his chest. Slowly he felt darkness creep into his vision as he dozed off.
Feeling lighter than before Nar sat upright out of her coffin and listened to the light music from afar. It seemed to beckon those who had passed over to the halls where the party would be held, so she stood up and looked back at her coffin before nearly running towards the sound of the music. As she turned the corner of the long stretch of coffins she came to a door where the music was playing. Her hand found the knob in the darkness and she turned it to let the light flood into the darkened room. A feeling of giddiness took over as she slid through the door and into the nicely decorated room. The spirits of those past were already there waiting, and they seemed to be having a good time by themselves.
Both the dragons rose slowly from their coffins and looked at each other. It was a weird feeling to be dead, but they would get used to it soon. The music called to them and the light that streamed in from the opened door served as a beacon to where the party was. Kahn rose first and lent a hand to his father to help him up before creeping across the room to where Nar was standing in the doorway. As he looked out at the people in the room and the decor, Kahn commented softly, "Wow....some party. What to do first?" He looked at Nar as if waiting for a response.
Nar's eyes scanned the area well for certain people, and when she found them she nearly squealed in delight. Forgetting all about Kahn beside her she trotted over to her familiars as fast as the dress she wore would let her and was immediately greeted by her friends.
Raziel turned as he heard light footsteps quickly approaching them and found Nar running towards them. "Nar!" he chirped as raced to meet her and picked her up in a hug. The two spun around a bit, giggling and laughing in glee to be with one another again. When he set her down he pressed a deep kiss onto the woman's lips and held her tight against him. Letting go he nuzzled her forehead and whispered, "I knew you would come. Now we are one once more."
Giggling, Nar brushed a strand of hair from Raziel's face and replied, "we will always be one with each other, Razzie. And soon we will all walk the world again. Just wait and see." She let Raziel go and turned to the next man who stood waiting for her.
Jumping up and down the orange haired man took Nar's hands and led her in a goofy bouncing game. The two laughed with one another, both carefree of what was going on around them. "Ah, love is in the air! And I cannot wait till the real party begins! Oh, how I love parties!" he chortled as he danced about happily.
"Me too, Herman. So wonderful to be here with you as well," she giggled as she pressed a kiss on the giddy man's cheek. As she stopped bouncing she felt hands wrap around her torso and squeeze gently. Turning her head she was face to face with Kashmir, who beamed back at her. "Hello, old friend. It seems like I was just talking to you not too long ago," she grinned as she pressed a kiss on the man's cheek as well.
"Likewise, Miss Lee," the ex-god teased as he rubbed his head against hers in an affectionate way. He began to sway back and forth as he turned his gaze from Nar to the man in the doorway that she had come with. "I do not believe your lover enjoys this sort of affection for you," he cooed as he rested his chin gently on her shoulder. The way the man stood watching he assumed this was the Kahn she spoke of before. Had he not given off the stench of a shaman maybe he would have been open to meeting this man.
Nar followed Kashmir's gaze to the door where Kahn stood watching, but she shrugged and replied, "it matters not what he thinks. We had a spat awhile ago so we are not really with one another right now. And being free gives me reign to see whoever I want whenever I want and do whatever I want."
Kashmir chuckled and replied softly, "well in that case we shall ignore him. And if he bothers you tonight we shall see that he gets a personal meeting with the vampire ancients." He kissed the ear of the small woman before backing up and turning her gently so she was close to the last ancient.
Letting herself be guided Nar froze in place as she stood before Nickolas. He looked both classy and sexy in his party attire, but by the way he stood with his arms crossed on his chest he gave a presence of authority that demanded respect. She wanted more than anything to just tackle her twin and be happy, but she knew how he was when it came to showing affection. So instead she held out a hand and cleared her throat before saying, "Brother."
Nodding his head towards his sister and her way of addressing him, he bypassed the handshake and stepped forward to wrap his arms around Nar. "Sister, how wonderful to see you," he replied warmly as he held his sister close and ran a hand through her hair. He looked out over the other ancients who had gathered close and gave a small smirk.
"Likewise, Nickolas," she purred as she buried her face into her brother's chest and closed her eyes. She felt safe and warm here, a feeling she had not received for some time. It was a feeling she only got when being held by her other half. Slowly withdrawing from her comfort zone she looked up at Nick and nipped at his chin gently.
Nickolas chuckled and tilted his head so he could look down at his sister. He pressed a kiss on her lips and danced about them with his tongue before withdrawing and letting his arms fall from around her. His body was filled with warmth and he felt like a complete creature once again. "So, now we are one again," he addressed the others with a smile. "And soon to be amongst the living again too. But for tonight let us enjoy ourselves and catch up on the old times."
The group moved together towards a section of the room with comfortable chairs and each took up a spot somewhere. Nickolas, being one of high stature in the group, took up the most comfortable chair he could find before propping his feet up. Herman also took a nearby chair with a footrest and made himself comfortable. Raziel and Kashmir took up spots on the couch and motioned for Nar to join them. Giggling, Nar came over and perched in Raziel's lap. She patted her own lap and Kashmir lay his head in it so Nar could play with his hair. The whole group seemed happy and they began to share stories with one another like old friends.
Kahn, who had watched all of this from his spot in the door, stood dumbstruck at the sudden mood change of the woman he thought he knew well. "Well....so much for us spending time together...." he mumbled under his breath as he entered the room and headed nowhere in particular. His blue features stood out amongst the dead spirits and he found that he could not shake his shaman form while amongst the dead. Maybe that is why she does not want to be near me. Here the dead can see shaman from reaper, and she does not want to associate with me, he thought sadly as he approached Hathern and Anid.

Hathern gave a big smile to Narssissuss, not so much that he enjoyed seeing her, but that she had shut down any acknowledgement of the boy period. Thats right Kahn, she is a b***h when she is around those men. Shivering herself back to her reaper qualities she wont have a lick to do with you at this party. Watching all of this unfold from beside the giant chair that stood raised on a couple of seats, Hathern looked back to the sleeping king. Hm, I wonder when I should wake him... or maybe he will wake himself.
Meanwhile, Kira had found her way to the tomb entrance, and stepped into the room filled with coffins. The ones that were empty were still opened, so she chose a smaller sized one -as that was all she needed- and carefully stepped inside, taking care not to get any of her long sleeves or hair snagged as she laid down. Reaching up she closed the lid, and fell asleep quickly. Is this... stupid.... Feeling off a little bit, Kira awoke and looked around to find herself still in the coffin. Listening, she heard the faint sound of music, and upon opening the coffin lid, the music heightened in sound. Sitting up she looked around to see an open door, and other guests slowly approaching and then entering the glowing doors. Standing up, Kira made sure the dirt didn't stick to her clothing, and stepped out cautiously from the death bed. "Such an odd way to come to a party... I am happy though that Prince Kahn and Lord Azerol allowed me to attend as a guest, and not their maid." She whispered to herself as she held a large smile.
Hathern looked over to see Kahn approaching him and the king, so he took a step away so that when the two met they wouldn't be right beside Anid. He would still keep a close eye on the man, as with his personality, things could get a bit iffy. As the boy came closer, Hathern gave him a nod. "Evening Kahn. Glad you joined." He noted the color additions to the boys hair and gave a grin. I was right. Shaman blood.
"Damn it Cozen, you took hours to get ready, and now you are second guessing yourself on if you want to do this or not?" Chaos held his top hat in his hands as he stood outside the tomb doors with his son. "All it is is for a couple of hours. Anid and Hathern are not going to just kill us all off!" He hissed as his eyes flashed red with anger. It was one of the biggest and most talked about parties of all times, and his son didn't want to take a chance. Damn feathers, thats what it is...
Cozen gave a shake of his head. "And what if they can't bring us back? And I thought you hated going to parties! What makes this one any different? Are you really that eager to die?" Cozen folded his arms across his colorfully dressed chest and stared at his father. "I just think it is dangerous thats all..."
Chaos gave a snort. "Danger Cozen is like your middle name. And it has found you again." Taking the palm of his hand, Chaos gave a light tap to Cozen's head. "And I get to see Hathern again, thats why this party is so damn different. That old man was like a father to me, got it? Ah, I think Azerol has already gone in there, think I saw him with Kahn earlier, while you were still getting ready..." Chaos rolled his eyes at his son who was fixing his hair. "Stop being such a girl about things Cozen!"
"Sorry! I can't help it... My hair is blue and it sticks out... a lot! I can't have it all messy if its going to be the focus of what people look at when they see me..." He looked away and down as he finished fixing his hair. Reaching down, he tucked some more of his pant leg into his boot so it didn't bunch up any more. "Azerol... he is attending?" He looked up with a bit of color to his dad.
Chaos rolled his eyes but added a sigh with it. Placing his hat atop his short hair, he strung an arm around his son's shoulders. "Yes, now lets go!" He pulled his son into the room and pointed out a coffin. "Climb in, and I will help close the lid for you."
Cozen was very nervous as he stepped into the box. His body shook slightly, so as he sat down he hugged himself. "You will open it to right?" He asked as he looked up to his dad. I don't want to be left... or leave those that I have now gained. If you close the lid, then you must open it as well, then I will know that you are okay because you opened the lid.
"Yes, yes! Just lie down! We are going to be late if you don't hurry it up!" Damn boy! s**t, if I was Azerol... Hffmmm... perhaps he doesn't act this way around the man. Mah, if he does then how does he deal with this crap? Chaos watched his son lie down and he carefully started to close the lid, but before he finished, he addressed his son one last time. "Don't try to get out without me. It will take a moment for me to climb into my coffin and then climb out." He gave a nod and closed the coffin the rest of the way. After he did that he found his own -right next to Cozen out of fear of the boy freaking out- and awkwardly climbed in. "Hopefully this isn't the last time I do this." He pulled his own lid down and as he laid there, a feeling of extreme exhaust came over him. Closing his eyes, he drifted from the box.
Nodding his head, and then watching his father leave the box, Cozen looked around the darkness. As he spent just mere seconds in the box, his nerves seemed to calm themselves some how, and he felt his eyes get heavy. Letting them close, he fell into some sort of heavy slumber. Remembering what was going on, he shifted and woke from his sleep. Unforetuently* for him, he bolted upward when he did, and he came back down just as fast. A loud thud sounded as he hit the top of the coffin and as the lid bounced up then back down. "Ah! That hurt!" He hissed as his hands came to his forehead, and he leaned against the side of the coffin as he tried to roll to the side.
Hearing a thud, Chaos woke up. That was Cozen wasn't it? As he asked himself that, he heard the boys voice go off in pain. Yep... danger pron Cozen... Sighing, Chaos got out of his box and went to the boys, lifting the lid. "Hopefully your hair and its hours spent on it can cover that." He grinned as he offered his son a hand to help him up and out of the box.

Azerol walked through the rows of coffins as if he were waiting for someone in particular. He had seen Kira come out already, along with a few other familiar faces, but when he heard the thump from a coffin a few rows up and some whining he knew that Cozen had arrived. Chuckling to himself he crossed through the rows with great strides till he stood nearby the boy and his father. Both looked dashing in their party garb, and he was not sure which one to greet first. Ah, well....let instincts guide you tonight, he told himself as he sauntered up behind Chaos and gave the man a most playful lick on the cheek. "Thought you would be here, and indeed I was right. Welcome to the other side," Azerol purred in Chaos' ear as he could feel the red swirls become vibrant in his hair here. Though the years of not moving between worlds had dulled his senses, the apparent shaman blood in his veins could not be denied in this world. Looking down into the coffin at Cozen the dragon king smirked and offered another hand to help the boy up by. After taking such a hit he was bound to need as much help as he could get.
Kahn nodded and smiled at Hathern as he approached, "good evening to you too, Hathern. Lovely party you have set up here." He rested a hand on the man's shoulder, then looked back towards the group that Nar was with. Something told him that there would be time to talk to her later about things, so he would just bide his time until then. Turning his head back he smiled at Hathern and asked, "how is the king? He looks rather out of it right now."

Gitano stood in the doorway, watching as everyone else picked a coffin to sleep in. After a short while he noticed that no one was moving, but he was aware of movement in the room. Movement he couldn't see.
Seems like the party really is on the other side... he thought with a smile. He picked a coffin that wasn't too big and lay down, closing the lid over him. He calmed himself and fell into a deep sleep.
Shortly he opened his eyes to the sound of music and opened the lid. He sat up and looked around. This is strange...Is this what death truly feels like? He got out and made his way towards the music, again opting to stand in the doorway to watch before he started to mingle.

Chaos gave a chuckle to his soon to be son in laws unusual greeting. Perhaps I dressed to well. He couldn't help but grin as Azerol to offered out his hand, in which Chaos retrieved his own and placed it in a pocket. "Nice hair, and thanks?" Chaos patted the other mans shoulder. "I will meet you guys inside." He nodded to his son's as he took leave of the two.
"Ah, don't speak of him in such a manor! Anid may look out, but he isn't. He is listening, thats what he does." Hathern had lowered his voice to a whisper. But coming back up to his normal voice he gave a nod. "Yes indeed, the party's set up... nothing fancy, but then again this was just sprung on me as I entered the room and it looked like crap." He had lowered his voice again, and held up fingers, and counted down from three. As he held no more fingers left, he heard what he knew he would.
"Bah! Thats your own damn fault you lazy a**!" Anid stretched, and then hung his head and arms from the chair. Looking at the upside down figures of Hathern and Kahn, the king smiled. "Youngling! I thought I had heard that voice before!" He twisted his body and landed out of his chair on his feet and faced the two men. "Glad you chose to come." He grinned though, one that was of amusement more then joy.
Cozen gave a nod to his father. "Alright." After Chaos had left, Cozen stopped rubbing his forehead, and patted down his hair a bit before taking up Azerol's out stretched hand. "Thanks, Azi." He grinned as he used the man's help to stand and step from the box. He like tongued him... Azerol tongued my dad! That... that... ew.... He gave a nervous laugh. "Ah, at least we are not in the middle of the party right?" He colored again as he rubbed his arm with his hand.

Gitano noticed a familiar figure making his way from the coffins to the room. As the man came closer he realized it was the man who watched his performance at the last party. He walked forward to meet him, "Seems fate has crossed our paths, Sir. It is an honor to see you again," he said with a small bow.

Popping into the room, Shadow looked around to see a nearly vacant room with coffins in it. "Oh how charming. It's like a valentine nightmare." With a short chuckle, the fox put the peice of paper that had been the random invite and took one of the one's in the corner--farther away from the rest and still open. Slipping inside, he pulled the cover over and turned over onto his side, comfortable. Hmmph...if I'm not careful, I might fall asleep and won't wake up until someone finds me...and then I'll be buried in this coffin. Well, it saves on funeral bills. Another chuckle and his eyes slipped closed, allowing him to fall asleep.
Waking up a second later--or so it seemed-- Shadow pushed the top off of him and sat up to louder sounds of people talking--some he knew, some he had to try and place a name too. He shook his brown hair and fixed the black collar of the shirt he was wearing. Standing up, the small vulpine blinked rapidly, before shaking his head again, clearing the sleepies that had accumulated.

Azerol chuckled at the boy's sheepishness and wrapped his arms around him. "It would not matter, they are all dead anyways," he grinned as he buried his face in the boy's hair and nuzzled him gently. "You're so cute and little," he purred softly in the prince's ear as he nibbled his ear softly. "If we weren't obligated to be here I might whisk you off to somewhere else and show you what a party should be."
Kahn began to laugh at Anid's outburst and bowed his head towards the now animated king. "It was an honor to be invited, Lord Anid. And there was no way I would turn down such a cordial event for anything in the world of the living." His mouth curved into a smirk and he asked, "are your kinsmen coming as well, or are they too wussy to lay down and die?"
The music from beyond changed tunes to a slower dance song. Smirking Raziel leaned down close to Nar's ear and purred, "would you like to dance, my dear?"
Nar giggled from the feeling of someone talking so close to her ear, and she returned with a smile, "would I ever deny a dance? I don't think so." She touched Kashmir's shoulder softly to tell him that she was getting up so he moved out of the way to let her.
"Excellent," Raz chuckled as he grabbed the woman around the waist and stood both of them up. He could feel her squirm and giggle in his arms, but he knew that she enjoyed things like that. Taking her hand he led the way out to the dance floor and took the woman in his arms. "You know, I have been waiting a long time to be able to hold you again. An awful long time."
Giggling, Nar rested her arms on the pirate's shoulders and replied, "It has been a long, long time. I miss feeling your arms around me; it makes me feel so safe.” Her eyes danced from the man who held her to her brother, who seemed not to care that the two were alone together now. In the past he would have found a way to make sure they were never alone. “It seems that Nickolas is beginning to calm down. Has he finally accepted this between us?"
Raziel laughed nervously and leaned in to press a kiss on Nar's cheek. "It matters not if he accepts it or not. You are living and I am dead, so it would not work out. We tried to work things out before and it never happened, remember?" His mind recalled the events before his own death and it dampened his spirit. But what also came to mind with the thought of trying to rekindle the old flame was the plan of being alive again. He swallowed hard, not sure if she knew what was being planned or not. He had hoped that her brother was not misinforming her about all of this.
Nickolas crossed his feet and watched the two leave to dance until they were out of his peripheral vision. His eyes then landed on Kashmir who now sat alone on the couch. "What is the matter with you?" he asked the ex-god with a frown.
Kashmir looked at Nickolas and sighed. He had watched the two get up to dance and remembered the old relationship they had. It was an odd feeling to him, but he felt a draw to the female, especially in this realm. He always had, but had never brought attention to it for good reason. He shook his head and forced a smile, "no, just thinking. Aren't you going to watch them like you used to?"
Laughing the male twin smirked to show his teeth then simply stated, "no need to. You can see them better than I can. I can judge what they are doing based on your facial expression."

Cozen giggled as he listened to the simple and yet so entertaining words that came form the elder man. Enjoyable thoughts! He grinned as he squirmed his own hands so they were now around the man and let himself settle into the warmth of the other being. He said something, but it was mumbled from his face being buried into Azerol.
Anid gave a loud laugh at that. "Damn s**t they are, but no, I feel their spirits here." He gave a small turn of his head. "Chaos is there, in the red top hat... and little blue must not of entered yet..." He gave a small hum as he looked over the group. He then broke out in a small laugh of entertainment. "So many dead idiotic fools... Ah what people will do in moder times for a party."
Hathern smirked as Anid was being himself around the boy, in which ment he felt comfortable with Kahn. He wasn't being an a** to him yet, but in time Hathern bet that Anid would find something repetitive to do to Kahn to show his approval. It was like the slapping of the side of the head and the nick name of Lazy a** that Hathern received from the king.
Kira had made her way into the main rooms and from group to group not really knowing any one. I guess this is one disadvantage of being a maid... you don't know those who normally attend parties! She gave a small pat to her dress as she set up a determined mind set to enjoy the night. She continued to walk casually around the room.
Chaos turned to the young man and gave a grin. "Good to see you as well, puppet master." He tipped his hat slightly, and took a look around. "Hopefully when I died, it wasn't for ever. I am surely not done with living my life." He gave a small chuckle.

Gitano watched as the man studied the group. "I can relate to that, Sir. I would be upset if I died here aswell." He shifted his weight, not knowing what to say to the man, since he couldn't use his dolls as a middle ground.
