I think I have depression.

No, I'm not kidding.

What makes you think that?

I've been diagnosed and treated for depression so if you tell me what it is that is causing you to think that you have it I might be able to let you know if it's something you should get checked out for so you can receive a proper diagnosis.

Depression seems to be really common now-a-days.
I trust Kiri's judgment although I got a sheet in my health class with signs of depression on it. It says if you have two or more of the signs you should see a doctor.

Well, my parents told me to go to the counseling department at my school, so I'll let you know how that goes.

The biggest sign that my dad thought troublesome is that my sleeping schedule is so ******** up (and has been for a while) that he thinks my body is making me tired/go to bed early so I don't have to deal with people/be conscious that much. I'm inclined to agree.

Plus, I've been crying a LOT lately and have seriously hated myself very deeply for a long time (over a year).

I was diagnosed with depression when I was seventeen, after suffering from it since I was around fourteen, and have been taking AD's for over a year now, and it's helped me out a lot. I only wish I would have gone to the doctor sooner as I feel so much better on the medication and after counselling.

From what you're saying, I think you should go to your doctor for definate.
So many people think depression is nothing and should just be shrugged away, but it's a serious condition and it really needs to get treated.

Hope everything works out for you, Senticake. :3

Do let us know how your visit with the counselor goes.

Those are definitely signs of depression, the sleep schedule bit being a big sign of clinical depression (as opposed to a temporary depression).

Thanks, guys. Cause of class I haven't had a chance to go yet, but I'm planning on visiting the counselor tomorrow morning.

@Kiri: Clinical? I certainly hope not. D:>

@Zombiodigisam'sgf: I don't wanna take drugs. D:>>>>

Also, I only started getting sad after I moved when I was 16, and I'm really very sure that I became sad because of the adverse conditions I faced at my new school. I was always a sickeningly happy kid, and I didn't change over night.

People who spend as much time on the net as us TLOEMers often have major social issues. rofl

@Crimsamzombio'sbf: Glad you found that funny, and thanks for the well wishes.
