To be honest, I didn't think they were good. First it doesn't do the characters justice by just switching heads with bodies. The female to male is easy enough since it's already a trend, but it doesn't give much imagination to the change. The male to female are just awful since the head shape doesn't coincide with the female body IMO. I think the genderbending pictures should be left to fanart rather than this.
I'm not a fan of the genderbending but I might try it at Otakon this year if I go. I'll either be a male Reisin U. Inaba (bunny-guy in school uniform) or a male Fujiwara no Mokou (red pants and suspenders, burned-stain white shirt, bandana with sutras on them.)
In any case, you don't need to be an artist to critique anything. If a customer doesn't like how a cook prepares a dish, then that person should do it themselves, right?
